Every Figarti vehicle & Artillery piece I have ever purchased arrived with some kind of damage. Figures are always ok, just the vehicles had problems. The exception was the V2 and launch vehicle. One day I made the dission to just not be disapointed anymore. For this kind of money I simply refuse to make repairs.

Figarti quality and detail is excellent.......but items are extremely fragile! I

always use extreme care when removing items from packaging yet always

have minor issues. I have not had to return anything yet, but I did have to

do one repair.

I do agree with Toy Soldier Brigade, items should arrive undamaged.

My recent Figarti Firefly was packaged as well as any military miniature I've ever bought and I had no issues with cheap packaging or fragile pieces. Perhaps the newer pieces have improved over those older issues in this respect due to TREEFROGGER postings no doubt!

Being the sole importer of Figarti into the US I have dealt with the brunt of figarti problems since they began. I have repaired dozens of items over the years and have a pile of unfixable items.

However I believe that Figarti has nearly conquered theses past problems. I think the Firefly is one of thebest manufactured tanks that anyone has put out. I think it is solidly built and packaged. I personally inspected over 30 of these. One was broken,due to the turret being placed in the box upside down.

Items with no damage so far include prime mover, V-2 fuel truck, v-2 Command and almost everything done in the last year or so. I have had only one report of a damaged M-31

Actually, one of the small rear doors of the Prime Mover had the hinge come off the body and one of the door pins had broken off in the other hinge. Going to try a repair but boy are those pieces small.

I am awaiting my 88,prime-mover and storch for delivery from the US of A to Perth Western Australia so will leave comments till then.........

I'm also waiting for the 88 and halftrack. I have been thinking of getting a Storch, so I would appreciate your thoughts on it, I guess you ordered the Frosty version

I did that with the hinge off of a glass table and onto a carpeted floor where it is gone forever. Those doors are very fragile. Looks like time for the museum putty to hold the doors in place.

I've only purchased 1 Figarti (until the winter 88 and prime mover) and it had issues. When my Winter Panzer IV arrived the commander's cupola hatch was broken off and had obviously had a botched repair attempt as the foam packing was melted to the underside (top relative to the displayed model) by the glue and there was a visible residue on the top. Treefrog went out of their way to acquire a replacement hatch as the item was sold out but I finally gave up on it (not TF's fault). Frustrating? Yes, but I didn't return it for a refund either.

I was nervous when I opened the 88 and prime mover but they were intact although the 88 sits crooked and requires I place something under one of the tires for it to sit level but that is likely because I am too cowardly to attempt tweaking it into proper alignment.

One question -the choice to require the placement of the crate under the stabilizing arm/foot of the 88 seems a bit odd. I realize necessity is the mother of invention but I would have preferred both arms extend fully and properly sit on the ground rather than require the crate be placed beneath. Perhaps this was done - or an interesting wartime photo -but it struck me as I set the model on my desk. Still - a fantastic piece no matter how you slice it.

I thought it odd too, especially when only 1 large brown crate comes with the 88 and you need the prime mover to get a second large brown crate for the other stabilizer arm. I hope you didn't put the olive crate with 3 live shells under the second stabilizer arm

Do not attempt to correct it under any circumstances! It will will snape like a saltine. My Panzer IV (and from what I understand all of them) rocks back and forth. I need to shim one of the tracks so the figures don't fall off.

I agree - I started to investigate it but found, due to its composition, it was ill advised. I have since repacked it due to space but I wonder - is the stabilizer that is unable to be stowed at a 90 degree angle opposite to the one which requires the box? I realize it is part of the accurate detail that cause that and but it just occurred to me.

Still, a fantastic piece.
