Figarti Russian T-34 (2 Viewers)

The FL will be too small to go with the Figarti Tiger !.....Dosent anyone see that yet ? FL stuff may be true 1//30 but they do not fit with the other manufacturers products. Not a problem just a fact. If anyone disagrees with what I said then I need to get my eyes examined.

Firebat.....Truth: First Legion is True 1:30 scale. (no doubt about that) just put them against 1:35 scale model figures like Tamiya or Dragon....The Figarti Winter Tiger is also supposedly 1:30 scale.....Work together OK???..... close not perfect but somewhat close ........CS produced 1:28 scale AFV's which seem to work well with K/C figures.....I guess for the most part FL is a stand alone type product....Still all quite confusing^&confuse and not easy for collectors as there seems to be no universal agreement on scale.....What are you gonna do:wink2:...It is what it is...Best Regards and Respectfully Frank

Yea.........no big problem....Just dissapointing...... Once and a while when you have a vision for a scene, and you cant do it because of incompatibility. TCS stuff is on the other side of the spectrum .....Huge.

But in the end all you make it work.

No, not really. I don't have a FL PzIII to measure, but if learned people tell me it's true 1/30, then I believe them...and I've measured the Figarti Firefly myself which is 1/30-1/30.5; so I don't see what the issue is. CS recent products are going into a larger scale, but K&C, FL & Figarti seem compatible now. Also someone posted side by sides of the FL StuG vs. K&C latest (which I did measure), and the FL was slightly larger which would make it a contender for 1/30 as the K&C was slightly smaller. What are your reference points?

It's kind of strange actually. I wonder how long a company selling model kits advertised as 1:35 which turned out to be between 1:33 and 1:37 would be around.

At least as far as photographs are concerned you can "cheat" somewhat to make things work (i.e. forced perspective). This doesn't help the guys who want to create permanent displays though.

We went over all of this...... We have done many many tests....... because we have many many of scenes......And the there have been many combinations that work and many that dont.

If you think a FL T-34 will work with a Figarti Tiger, so be it. Lets see what happens.....

Clive is shipping the T34 now , should get mine next week

The Figarti T34/85 is a superb model...{bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}...Proper scale along with excellent detail/paint/weathering...highly recommend it......Glad to see that Figarti is moving away from polystone materials which are very outdated which also results in fragile poorly detailed AFV's......Only the FL T-34/76 is on the same level of quality and detail.....Will be purchasing the First Legion Version "welded turret" as soon as available......The Figarti T-34/85 is excellent......Good work Figarti....WELL DONE:smile2:

My opinion, Figarti continues to be the best Vehicle made out there regardless of medium. No other manufacturer is in the same league as Figarti in this area. All you have to do is look at Anzio Annie (The Leopold) and realize there is no comparison. Regarding the T34, it is the one and only one to buy. Sorry Frank, but the First Legion one is not in the same class nor are the K&C ones. When it comes to vehicles, the Figarti ones are usually home runs.

My Assessment: Figarti AFV's have been developed and improved upon quite bit for some time now....I own many of them....I am "Very Satisfied" with some of their most recent offerrings....MUCH IMPROVED{bravo}}.....First Legion AFV's are also extremely detailed with excellent paint and weathering....The FL Panzer III AFV's are the best PanzerIII models out there so far.....Both companies show an obvious desire to contiunally improve upon their products.....They are 1-2 in regards to WWII AFV's..... currently Figarti leads in the AFV status with a much longer history of AFV production...(FL is unsurpassed in figure quality)......K/C AFV's sadly a very distant 3rd place finish...no contest.....Again my assesment....to each their own.

Whatever!!!!!!!

Just to let you know - I don't care who came first, second or worst.

Clive,

Love my T-34/85 - thanks very much{sm4}.

Well some of us do care...it helps with purchasing decisions regarding price/quality ratios among various manufacturers........With the rising costs of this hobby it's good to know what your buying.....No problem at all with the Figarti T-34/85....a Beautiful T-34 at a fair price point.....Nicely done Figarti{bravo}}

To change the subject a bit. If someone has FL Russian troops, pleaese post a pic of them on the T34..
Thanks

Just opened my T34 and it is stunning
Very happy collector
Bring on the winter T34

Yes some of us do care. This stuff costs a a LOT of money and my money goes to the manufacturers who make the most accurate military miniatures. And I agree that FL and Figarti do the Best AFV's.....I just wish FL fit size wise with the rest, and were a little cheaper. So I have to put Figarti 1st and FL a close second. J Jenkins Stuff is excellent also, but he does not do much WWII. The rest also do nice AFV's and are about in the same league together as far as detail etc, just a notch below the above mentioned.....but still very nice.

So I think it is a matter of taste.

The Forum has had a lot of hot topics as of late discussing who is best etc. I believe in the early days there was mostly K&C fans here and it was basically a K&C support forum with a lot of K&C fans. Now many excellent necomers have come along and they have acquired many fans also. I think this is the reason for the hot debates. As I have said many times a new hobby is sort of emerging which include the modeler types as opposed to the collector types, and there are different views on both sides, thus the hot debates. Alex

Have to agree with this statement. Again, IMO, this T34 is in a class by itself, when I saw pics of all of them from all 3 Manufacturers, this one is true winner in price and quality. It just screams the way, this iconic tank should.

Not a slam on anyone, but there is just no comparison.

I missed the boat to pre-order this T34 from Figarti :redface2:. I truly hope they consider making a winter T34 in future. I'll be the first one to jump on it.

I received my T-34 a few days ago. I noticed the use of different materials right away. I like it more and more everyday. I really regret not getting the earlier Russian vehicles.

just got mine today, different quality to it, the metallic sheen off it is slick. It obviously smaller than the other two figarti russian tanks, and the tracks are less prominent as well. It's does seem though to have more definition or a higher resolution , if those are the right words:smile2: than the other two tanks. Very impressive piece, i like the look a lot. Have they used different materials compared to the other two russian tanks?

I think maybe slightly different % of composition but very likely similar materials....This T-34 appears to have more resin content....a little lighter in weight.....a little less weathering:(....It appears to work quite well with FL Russian figures in scale..........overall an excellent T-34/85{bravo}}
