Figarti Russian T-34 (3 Viewers)

No FACTS are FACTS........It is quite clear which manufacturer is the current industry leader and innovator for the subject of WII Eastern Front.

No obviously not Brett. Notwithstanding the lead in to my post, I believe Figarti was the first following K & C shutting down the Berlin line.
However, as Terry noted, does it really matter and who cares who was there first.

I bet my dad could beat your dad up!!!!!!!!!

First legion rules
King and country rules
Figarti rules (as its their thread)

As far as who "'rules'' each to their own.

Vezzolf started this thread about a Figarti T-34. However judging by the comments and 4 images of the same non Figarti item some might be thinking they are in another section of the forum.

Apologies if I was the cause of sidetracking this thread :redface2:

As a collector and yes speaking as a collector not dealer. I hope Figarti do make a T-34 to go
along with the new KING & COUNTRY T-34's I PRE-ORDERED... :wink2:

This is the way to go, one great piece well made and realistic on the scale...after that, no need to do 3

300 DOLLARS WITH PLASTIC TRACKS..I wish Figarti would make a T34 just to chase the F/L ( anti anything K/C guys )back to the other forum..There you can snicker to one another how you were able to blow up yet another thread not about F/L...Michael

Hilarious! This whole thread makes me roll. BUT............if you are going to blow up a thread, might as well use NAPALM. So here it goes.........

I will buy whatever T34 will net me a resale profit in 2 years of at least triple my money. Yo Ho Yo Ho a Pirates Life for me..................sing it with me..

Based on historic values, here are the percentages that will enable me to do this:

1. King & Country - 70%
2. Figarti - 29%
3. First Legion - 1%

I base the above percentages on past performance of all WW2 items. I think I am generous with #3 because any item I have personally purchased on the resale market has been BELOW market value.

SO, back to my original thought, I will buy 1 of each, hold onto for 2 years, then resale at a profit and reinvest that money into the one and only true "Toy Solder" company..............Trophy Miniatures of Wales........those are truly works of art.

Seriously, please go back to your respective sandboxes, this kind of crap on this thread is pathetic.

Tom

The bottom line whether folks like it or not - K&C will sell every one of the T34's they make. Figarti can easily sell 100 of their T34s. I have no idea on how many FL will sell. But regardless of what you think, these facts are simple facts.

I do find this thread quite amusing because to be honest I don't give a flying you know what for what anyone thinks when it comes to my purchasing, I buy my favourite producers product because I prefer them over all others. Does anyone actually change their mind because of what the odd person thinks about it???? Not me. Whilst I have one favourite producer, Figarti have made some fine AFV's over the years there's no doubt about it and am very happy to have some in my collection.

Not worth getting steamed up about chaps:smile2:

I have never bought anything for resale value. Just me I buy it If I like it. Simmo.

Gentle Friends,

Once again, I suggest you take a few relaxing deep breaths. This thread may be steaming toward a rocky end if the discussion grows more heated.

Thanks for your cooperation.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Tom (aka Captain Blackbeard),

You are an absolute genius.

I predict your 2 year T-34 Ebay plan will break all known TS vehicle records and get you a spectacular return.

Highest bidders will be guys called Matt, Andy and Rick{sm4}

Regards
Brett

I'd like to see a Figarti T-34/85 to complement their Berlin assault force

Rob..

Beyond amusing rather sad. Critique the products as all have errors and flaws but, this demostably mine is better than yours from all sides is a waste of time as it fails to take into account everyone has different tastes and expectations from what they collect.

A lot of it is disagreeing about personal taste. Its like saying my wife is better looking than yours in my eyes thats right in yours its wrong or, we would not be with them. Pointless argument. I see this so many times yet, nobody just wants to address the good and bad about the sets and hope it makes manufacturers change for the better.

I do note that I commented on the fact that I did not like the straight lines on the rifles of FL to replicate grain and, their recent releases have not got that on. Now, I am not presuming that was from my comment but, a few made a similar point and, its looking like its gone. Thats critique for the good IMO

Blowtorch, I'm all for that. A Figarti T-34/85 I'm sure would be done to a "high standard" of excellence as are most Figarti AFV's.......the Figarti JS-2 was very well done.....Excellent paint and detail at fair pricepoint ......For those few who collect for "investment":rolleyes2:.....The JS-2 seems to also do well for resale.....Although that's not a factor for me since I very rarely sell and do not purchase or hoard products for re-sale....I only purchase what I intend on looking at for quite a while:wink2:....Many choices and "levels of quality" are now available...So no need to worry about the speculators who will likely be sitting on multiples for quite a while......Oh Happy Days{sm4}
