Alright, so I wanted to know what different types of figures, or specific poses that would compliment the excellent ranges of that Britain's currently provides!:) I would like some U.S. glider pilots/troops with the goggles on their helmets, dead glider troops that could be put around a Waco glider, and some U.S. G.I. medics/stretcher teams, especially one medic carrying a wounded GI across his back!:D:cool: So how about it, what are your dream figures or poses?!!?:)

Do buildings/scenics count Vick. Now that WB has announced the release of their 18th/19th century farmhouse that will go along with the rest of their farm buildings (smokehouse, springhouse, wood shed, wash house) it would be nice to finish the farmstead off with a period style barn. Perhaps similar to the one offered by Frontline. As far as figures go I would like to see them make some civilian figures that could be used with the farm (farmer, farmer's wife, children, field hands - all wearing work/labor clothing - nothing fancy or dandy)

Yes, scenics count Mike!:) Civilian figures would be wonderful, I could sure use some refugees for Normandy!;) As we're on the matter of scenics I would love a French cafe as seen in Band of Brothers episode 3 during the assault of Carentan!:eek: Everyone scenics, figures what ever your dreams consist of go ahead and share, I'm sure everyone would love to hear!:D:)

Civilian figures would be nice. THey are releasing the Pride & Predjudice range (Napooleonic) so who knows what the furtue holds. I would like to see some more ceremonial figures added, perhaps other members of the Royal family. Maybe even a Kings & Queens of Great Britain range :D I also think some nice buildings for the new Durbar series wouldn't go a miss and perhaps some livestock (cattle, dogs, horses could be used for other periods as well). Last but not least some tents, supplies, wagons, horses and oxen for the AZW range to create some non combat camp scenes.

Livestock is a needed essential, my Norman fields our short of cows and sheep, and could really use some!:D:cool::eek:

Scott, you really need some cattle for AZW! I really need some dead sheep for mine!:( An unfortunate casualty of war!:(

I agree that non-combat items (camp fire, tents, wagons, etc.) would complement nicely the Napoleon + staff Waterloo set (We need more Nap staff too :)).

I also would like some more Confederate generals, I'm in the process of creating my diorama with Lee and his generals, Early, Ewell, Gordan, Pickett, etc. would be great!:D

I'll chime in with matte figures for the Northwest Frontier including 2nd Afghan War, Sudan (I'd prefer later reconquest, but would certainly be happy to see Gordon's relief column), and on an unrelated note, the Great Sioux War of the mid 1870's. Ideally would love to see more non fighting figures for all of these and for the Plains war in addition to soldiers, and Native American figues would really love to see civilian figures as in scouts, explorers, prospectors, mountain men, etc......in the mix.

And why not also just add that I wish Britains would do a nice little Lewis and Clark range too.

Just a short list really.

I would like to see some WW1 soldiers actually wearing their gasmasks. I recently purchased an Andrea figure of a British soldier running with a gaskmask on. I'm really looking forward to painting him up! But it would be nice to see a few figures from W.B. fighting w/ their masks on, as opposed to having the mask hanging around their necks or stuffed away in their packs out of view.

More cavalry in the glossy lines. A start would be British cavalry from the Seven Years War, such as light dragoons. They could even be part of the Redcoats/Bluecoats series. Then perhaps from the Revolutionary War (again, Redcoats/Bluecoats), and then from the Napoleonic Wars, and so on.

There's not really anyone who makes such figures today, as far as I know, apart from kits by Imrie-Risley and John Eden.

Prost!

I have been lobbying for several years for Classic glossy series on the history of the British and American navies. I call it P-coats.

They've been doing a pretty good job of expanding beyond the generals first put out by Britains when RC Ertl owned the company. . . I, too, would like to see more of the famous figures (on both sides) from history, no matter what their rank may be.
