After 3 years of searching on the internet and the forum, I could finally lay my hands on DD038 at a reasonable price ( Thank you Butterflylover). I have been looking for this Greyhound for years.
Now I can make the dio I had in my head for a long time : Normandy- Sainte Mère Eglise: meeting between the 4th US infantry Div coming from Utah beach and the 82nd airborne .Of course I will have to change the shoulder insignia on the greyhound crew uniforms ( they wear the insignia of the 3th US infantry div) and make a few changes to the vehicle markings , but that is peanuts.Hope to finish this dio within a couple of months. I attach a few pictures of my hunting trophy.I'm overjoyed!!!!!!!

Great feeling when you hunt down that elusive piece........................^&grin

Congratulations on the aquisition. I had this set at one time and it was always one of my favorites. The figures are great. -- Al

Congratulations Guy, glad to see you've got it. I'm sure the dio will become another hit!

It is always nice to pick up an old set. They are a bit more robust I find. You reminded me of when I picked up these little jewels awhile back. I believe it is AK11 the Afrika Korps standing paratrooper patrol and AK13 an early MG42 set. It is an awesome feeling! Thanks for sharing.

Congratulations Guy on getting the Greyhound. It's a great piece with nice figures to go with it as well. I have one as well and am sure glad I got it when I did.
