The new Fokker DR1 450/17 of Lt. Josef Jacobs receives its final preparations before take-off: The last of the black paint is applied to one of the crosses on the fuselage, a mechanic/pilot suits up to test it out and make sure it is combat ready for the Lt., while the aerodrome's meteorologists make a final check of the flying conditions.

The John Jenkins Designs Fokker, hangar and Jacobs figure are all new additions to my developing JJD WWI German aerodrome shelf-diorama.
