first legion a success? (2 Viewers)

I was at the Wayne Show yesterday (not a great show) but had a chance to look at the figures that George Guerriero had there and have to say I was suitably impressed. My friend Harvey purchased one. Couldn't tell you which one though (he had a grayish beard and a great coat I believe). These figures are closer to Russian kind of painting (Aeroart was there and they had some amazing figures) than K & C so I don't know how you mix them together. Not my problem as I don't collect Napoleonics but really great quality.

For the style of painting and sculpting you're getting, I'm impressed that First Legion can sell this at the price point they do.

That is impressive and getting more so as the newer figures come out. There is a difference in paint styles but to me the size difference is more of a limitation. I think the the 1st Legion British Guards and K&C Cuirassiers look fine together since the size issue is mitigated by the horses. I presume the same would be true for the 1st Legion French line and K&C Scots Greys. The K&C Guards and KGL don't mix as well but look OK if separated from their opposite numbers. Apart from the white pants, the WB Guards fit better with the 1st Legion ones.

Yes think the first legion infantry and K&C cavalry go pretty well together but quality and size would be too different to mix just infantry.
