First Legion - The American Revolution (2 Viewers)

My son is a huge fan of the Revolutionary War, as I am, I grew up and lived most of my life in Virginia, and spent many a field trips to George Wahingtons birthplace, (only lived less then 25 miles from his birthplace) so when we took a family vaction back east 2 years ago my son just could not get enough of the war/battles/generals, if something is on the history channel about the Revolutionary war he records it!!!!so maybe he and I will go into this new range together, as we do in the K&C Civil War, again great work by Matt and all his crew at First Legion, I may pay a few more coin to buy Matts product but the money is there in the detail, and that to me is worth it, congrats on the new line...Sammy

That is a great new line and the minutemen look stunning.
Congratulations to First Legion.

I can see George' new sign at shows: "Get the minutemen from Minutemen!" ;):D:)

That is a surprise! I thought surely, it was going to be something medieval or ancient. Maybe, that is still coming at a later date. Great-looking figures! I may have to alter my collecting plans as I juggle my budget... Samurai or AWI or a little of both... Could also, squeeze some other lines to make up the difference...

Matt-
I can't tell you how exciting it is to see this as the new range! I had hoped it would be, but wasn't convinced it would happen. The American Revolution is what got me into toy soldiers. Now I can collect my favorite time period with figures from the best manufacturer. It is truly the best of both worlds! Thank you very much. Bring on the preorder!

I agree, I think I am in on this range. American Revolution has always been one of my favorites. Time to make some collection changes.

P.S.- that guy in the corner looks a lot like Mel Gibson.:D

The fellow standing with the musket in the crook of his arm reminds me of William Daniels playing John Adams in 1776.

I almost started collecting matte figures with the Napoleonic line, but I resisted. I can't resist these, though.

Matt,
Must say these figures are very impressive!
In the light of the political situation in this country today I find it quite timely. The words you quote , I believe in the bedrock of my soul and are being disregarded as "out of touch" today. You may be pulling me back in!
Ray

Ray-

Thank you sir, for this heartfelt statement. While staying as apolitical as possible, I will just say that I completely agree with your sentiment.

Is this new line announced on the homepage or forum ??? Anyway, its a great idea! Good for me, i live not too far from Valley Forge, Brandywine, Germantown etc..

WOW , Very nice release . Congratulations to First Legion on the introduction of another Fantastic line . I'm sure collectors of this period are gonna have a wonderful time adding these fine figures to their collections . Its nice to see that the quality has not been diminished in anyway. With the increase in the amount of new figures being released and as the company expands I must admit i have been a little concerned as to whether or not they could keep the quality up to the level I have come to love and expect . I'm happy to see i have nothing to fear . Its really an exciting time to be Collecting First Legion , Getting in early gives all the advantages to collectors . I can't wait to see this company continue to grow . I'm really very happy for collectors of this period who will now be able to share what it is like to collect First Legion . Welcome aboard All the best Gebhard ;)

Kudos on your new range Matt...they look as nice as I thought they would...I think I can use some of these in my FIW collections.

Here are official FL photos of the Minutemen figures. They were provided to me by an operative currently working for Xe Services somewhere along the Afghan/Pakistan border. Enjoy!.
