First Legions releases seems to have become become less and less new releases as the months have gone.. There are only two ranges that they touched on this month, the wild west and Agincourt, plus the single 75mm being the third... Used to be I can't decide which ones I should buy, but now its... There were more than a few hints of upcoming releases but so far, theres been no news past those hints its been over a year since the first Kickstarter, there was a hint of the Zulu range having reinforcements, not to mention the limber team from the napoleonic range, and the elephant that is on top of their website. Are the suppliers beginning to thin down? Or are their warehouse beginning to get filled up with too much inventory? That they don't have the space to have more. Maybe they should start doing what they did with the discounted greek line, and start selling some older pieces at a discount.. First Legion creates great products, hopefully they are not in trouble.....

My goodness, such rampant speculation and drawing of conclusions that couldn't be further off. You know nothing John Snow. :)

We released 44 sets in May and another 11 the other day, 6 of which are mounted figures and a few others are multi-figure. Between March and today we've released about 70 or so sets give or take. Is that not enough? I'd say that's quite a few, particularly when you factor in the extreme quality which makes them take about twice as long to produce than most other figure companies.

Geesh…. :)

Best,

Matt

I’m happy with the pace.

I’d like to see some Vietnam because it’s been awhile but I’m sure we will see some sooner or later.

It has been awhile and the range is overdue for a new set of releases. As we have more product ranges than ever to support and we never really end any of the ranges, it does get more difficult to adequately support each one. This is compounded a bit in that we tend to release large groups of a figures for a particular topic. Feast or famine type thing.

But I agree - the Vietnam series needs some new items.

Best,

Matt

That's good news to hear indeed! I love your Vietnam range and seeing more of it down the road will make many collectors like me very happy!

I can hardly keep up as it is. Pace is fine for me.

Fully understand Matt and good to hear on Vietnam.

I'm looking forward to the potential new range idea that FL floated out there not long ago....sounded fun & interesting. For those who didn't catch it basically it comes down to FL producing a few figure prototypes for a few prospective ranges, and whichever figure pre-sells the most, if it meets a certain threshold I assume, will determine what the next range will be. (I think I got it mostly right, but if not someone please correct me.) I believe there was a discount involved too for the initial figure if by voting w/ your dollars you ended up on the winning side.

I wasentioning ranges, not individusl pieced.. So if we count pieced. When the Giordons came out you had over 30 maybe, and tgat wa eady for u guys. What happened?
And still all thr things I mentioned will it come to fuitation in the next 6, 12, a couple of years. Now there is the town that is coming. This yeR, next year. Or like the limber. Close 2 years. Maybe more
Will there be another kickstarter?, you commented but, have not clearrd up. The piecezs that were mentioned before by you..

Forgive my spelling. I am in a train..and am I the only one that is wondering, when these are coming out?

You know it.... I probably pissed off, some Strictly FL collectors. But, me like others do want to find out if something is in the far future, or near future. Or if its never going to happen. And I do sound like a $$$. But knowing is better than not, at least most of the time. Take care and have fun collecting!! Good regards everyone!!

Any way to repeat what I was saying hours ago without the train.
I was mentioning ranges, not individual pieces. So if we are counting pieces, when the Gordon's was released you had over 30 pieces that came out, and that was easy for you FL. What happened?
And still with all that I mentioned, will it come into fruitation? In 6, 12 months, a couple years? Or like the limber more? Now we have a town for the Wild West, when will that come out? In a year, two?.
Will there be another kickstarter,.. you did comment .. But did not clear up anything. And this are pieces that were mentioned by You FL..

When it happens, it will be extremely cool. I would love to start this collection.. It will be the reason to get it.. But, as the saying says.. I will not hold my breath. I hope that it does come out....

I will have to see the cost, always a factor. There's a Spanish company who makes western buildings that are very nice -- their name escapes me right now -- but are expensive.

If the point of your original post was to ask specifics about certain releases, then it probably would have been better to just ask that rather than to make incorrect observations based on a few items that haven't been released yet. Sure there are things we've mentioned or previewed that haven't been released yet for one reason or another (competing priorities, complexity of the piece, etc.) but there are 100 times more that have been mentioned/previewed that HAVE been released. Agincourt Knight on our banner - released. Soviet Sailor on our banner - released. That's 50% of the items previewed on the banner already released and we just created that preview banner on March 15th!!!!! All items on the previous banners released. Pretty much everything previewed in various newsletters, released. So you have to be patient and they'll come.

I do understand that you and others have specific questions about specific products. But please also understand that I've tried to make it a policy to not answer questions about specific product releases either on the forums or via email because it started dominating too much of my time. So the answer to your question is that the previewed and mentioned items such as the Elephant, AZW follow up, and Limber will be released when they are released. Again, be patient, and suddenly they'll be available. In the meantime there is plenty that we have released already and continue to release to discuss and enjoy.
