After seeing Duke's fantastic Desert Strategy scene, I had to try my hand at creating a K&C Afrika Korps tabletop diorama. While it's not much, I've slowly been building my K&C collection appreciating each piece as I do so.

I like the desert Stable building that provides a lot of opportunity for creating various scenes. Thanks again Duke for sharing those nice images.

Very nice mate, always great seeing AK stuff on display, thanks for posting.

Excellent WO, very well done. Can you also post a pic of the dio in colour?

WesternOutlaw that is excellent {bravo}}

Cheers

Martyn:)

Great looking scene WO and nice photography as well. Looks like you've added some nice K&C pieces to your collection. The AK line is one of my favorites. Also, thanks for the nice comments about my Desert Strategy dio. That desert stable piece is great isn't it?

Thanks Duke.

I wanted to ask you: is your Desert Stable lighter in color than some of your other buildings? Compared to the Village/Shop House, the color looks lighter. I suppose not all the buildings have the same exact paint color.

Very nicely done, makes the scene look like it is from a bystanders view. :salute::

Thanks Duke.

WO, I had to look at them again, but yes I do believe my Desert Stable may be just a tad lighter than both my Village House and Wall pieces. Another thing I noticed is that on the bottom, my Stable has the date 2009 and both my Village House and Wall have 2010. The paint variation is ever so slight and you really have to look close to notice the difference, but maybe since they weren't made in the same year the paint is just the least tiny bit off.

Thanks for the nice feedback fellas.

Appreciate the info Duke. Mine is a tad lighter and as I look at some other pictures where they are pictured together, I see that the Stables are a little lighter.
