At the Chicago OSTN show I was extremely impressed by the plans and vision for the new W. Britian range, Clash of Empires. From FIW frontier conflict sets through the late 18th century and very early 19th century European struggle for dominance in the "Norhtwest Territory", this range will offer many early American history choices to choose from. The first prototype figures of the range are of Eastern Woodland warriors and they are amazing looking. Earlier I decided to pass on the three Iroquois warriors that were released earlier this year because I didn't colelct AWI and was not sure how the theme would be expanded upon. Although released under the AWI range, native american dress did not change a great deal from 1754 to 1794 and so these figures will work quite well in a FIW setting. These three figures were the only purchases I made at the show . . . . the least expensive show I have ever had . . . . but well worth the enjoyment I have already got from them. Below are WB stock photos of the three plus two photos of a small vignette I quickly put together this morning.
