Boy o Boy if the decisions weren't hard enough as it is. Add em to the wish list because the FJs are a must.

I can not wait for these figures to be released-they look spectacular!

Alex {bravo}}

As I said before...these will be great to go up against the 101st boys like we saw in "Band of Brothers" :D

Mentioned these earlier. I really like FJ troops and these look good. One issue is with the ammo belt on the MG gunner not sure they would fold like this whilst being fed because of the weight. Hope that could be rectified. The guy opening the ammo box is superb and pick of the bunch for me as the pose, painting etc looks very good

FL is going to put me in the poor house! As much as I am trying to avoid the Ww2 temptation, these look amazing!!

Woo-hoo, FJ's !!!
Great looking figures and sculpts to be sure-I'm curious though...wouldn't the helmet color as shown on some of the troops(tan/dunklegelb? I can't recall it's name..) have been seen more in N. Africa/Sicily than Normandy ?
Just curious.

The yellow helmet color with chicken wire overlay was worn by fallshirmjagers assigned to the 3rd Fallshirmjager Division, which took part in the fighting in and around Normandy, France. I hope this information helps.

No doubt about it....FIRST LEGION RULES:salute::....and.....In a Big Way^&grin

I am a First Legion newbie so sorry for the stupid question, how long does it usually take for the new pieces to arrive once they have been announced?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Thanks very much for the clarification :salute::

Joe,

Thank you for posting pictures of the new fallshirmjagers. Looks like you will be short on gas money for your boat next month! :smile2:

I'm new to FL as well, but it was a few months after the first images of the Waffen SS appeared that they were released. Not sure if that is normal though.

Agreed. Ammo belts lay much flatter.

Great to see some FL Fallschirmjäger. I'll need to see more pictures before I form more of an opinion but my initial impression is the uniforms and camo smocks look very nice. If the yellow on the helmets and ammo boxes is supposed to be RAL7028 (Dunkelgelb) it looks too bright and too amber to me, more like RAL8020 used in North Africa. I suspect the ammo belt will be fixed prior to release as it definitely isn't hanging correctly.

Frank

Not into WW2 infantry but the action poses look very good.

Will wait for more releases before deciding whether to make this a niche collection of a elite unit.

More views from all will be welcome to help me with the decision-making.

Love it when a new day starts off with some sneak peeks of a new WWII range!!:) along with the new SS sets these fellows look to add another dimention to any First Legion WWII collectors, look forward to adding them in my collection in the near future...Sammy

Hi Frank, maybe Matt will address the color issue of the helmets, as I certainly like the looks of this new range and hope all the gear is reflecting to what was worn in Normandy...Sammy
