I thought football season would never get here!!!!!!! now I love my baseball but when your team (the orioles) are 20 games out of first it makes for a long summer, but nothing is better then football, my Ravens are going to rebound from last year and have a playoff type season this year (hopefully) first prediction......Ravens 20 - Bengals 17......Sammy

I can't wait for the Giants vs Redskins opener! The Giants gave such a pleasant surprise last season, I can't wait to see how this one plays out!

Go Penn State! And go Iggles!

I can't wait, I was so excited, I ran down the Ac-a-me, to buy some fillum, so's I could take pitchers of the Iggles and show all of youse, but I fell on the payment.

(a little dialect fun, for all of youse from PA and especially Philluffya)

Prost!
Brad

My Football Fanatsy Draft is Wednesday. Trying to figure out who to draft first, if my usaul pattern holds true, he will get hurt or have a terrible year.

Go Bears!!!

too bad for the skins, that was a terrible loss last nite, i know my brother is in hiding at the moment.......go ravens

I am pumped for the season. I have my season tickets to the Kansas Jayhawks and my new flatscreen for HDTV viewing of the other college games as well as my Sunday NFL viewing marathons.

I won another fantasy title last year - as well as a pick 'em and survivor pool - so I am a bit worried this year may pale a bit but I'm ready to give it a shot, lol.

Good luck to your teams - as long as they aren't playing my guys. :D

It was rather pitiful. The offense is certainly not clicking yet.:( New coaches take time, like any other major change.

Gee, so far all my teams are undefeated.

Even the St Patrick Shamrocks are 2-0, after beating the New Trier Trevians, what a dumb nickname the Trevians. Down with those rich boys.

That game was a sure fire cure for insomnia, what a joke, a thrill a minute......

Now George, it is not nice to kick a lad when he is down.;):D They'll be back.:confused:

I know developing a QB takes time, but the Redskins quarterback doesn't have a clue.

As far as the Ravens go, aren't they picked to be near the bottom?

The sad part is the Redskins have played 5 preseason games (the traditional 4 and the HOF game), so I'd have thought they would have worked the kinks out by now.

The skins have a great tradition to uphold, they were a once dominant team that rammed the ball down the field with a punishing ground game (loved "the hogs" and how they demolished Denver, Miami and Buffalo in those three SB's).

I was actually referring the the performance by the defending Super Bowl Champions; one TD and a QB scramble at that.

I am still at a loss as to how the Patriots lost to Eli and the Giants.

Well I have never been sure he has what it takes to be a Playoff level QB. It has been very frustrating to watch the very formidable Skin offensive weapons go underutilized in the last couple of seasons. I wish him the best but I think the late season improvement with Todd last year was a bit telling.

I thought the premier league had already started last month

FLORIDA STATE !

Go Noles !

Defense wins superbowls, George, and the Giants defense held your offense to two scores. That's how Eli and the Giants offense, who could only put 17 points on the board, beat your team.

Same thing Thursday night, the Giants defense won that game, the offense just managed not to lose it.

It was sad :( :( :( another REDSKIN LOSS !

Oh well - at least there is College Football. ;)

For me personally....Im getting ready to call the dawgs in 20 minutes.

GOOOOO DAWGS! SIC' EM!
