How can you not root for Kurt Warner, here is a professional athlete that everyone can look up too.
He is still loved here in St.Louis.
As mentioned earlier if it were not for that pic at the end of the first half, they should have tackeled him, Arizona would have won.

Sounds like it was a great game.
However as everybody knows the most important thing we need to know is will Darren Lockyer be extending his contract with the Brisbane Broncos !!!

NFL owners to vote on extending the regular season to 17 or 18 games = more TV money. No end to greed in professional sports. Maybe even expanding the playoffs (yet again). Soon they will be playing year round and every team will go to the playoffs.
 
The powers that be need to co-ordinate pro football and baseball seasons. There is no reason for the sports black hole of February and March. Football and baseball seasons are long enough to overlap at beginning and end with a little schedule adjustment. Having either football or baseball to follow 12 months a year will complete the cycle of life and all will be right with the world. Someone get on it.
 
Well not quite, but hey the guys are in training camp which is close enough for me, my last post was Feb. 1 after watching the cards self-destruct in the final drive of the superbowl to the, ...mmmm, I'm not even going to say thiere names this year, but hopefully my Ravens are gonna pick up where they left off, but win the A.F.C. championship instead of losing it, we got a great team back, young, talented 0-line, good runners, and I actually think our defense improved in the offseason, Flacco will be even better, but if we don't find a deep threat reciever were gonna be in trouble in the middle to down fild passing, I'm hoping we can get Boldin from the cards. how is the rest of your teams looking this year??...Sammy

My team (NY Giants) has one of the three best defenses in the league, the number 1 rushing attack, and a Super Bowl Champion Quarterback, but only three journeymen receivers and two draft picks to throw to . . . maybe not this year, but next year we have a shot at another title.

And don't forget the WR who caught the winning touchdown in the Super Bowl....................oh yeah, nevermind, he's going to prison.

Many are picking the Patriots to get back to and win the Super Bowl, beating the Giants in a rematch.

Nothing would make me happier, but I just don't see it.

The O line is a question mark, three new starters in the secondary, no replacement for Vrabel at outside linebacker and Bruschi is 36 years old on the inside. AND, is Brady going to be 100% healthy and how long before he kicks the rust off.

They win the pathetic AFC East and one playoff game, but the ride ends there or in the AFCCG.

I think the Steelers can and will get back to the big dance and win it again, then the debate of team of the decade can begin, them vs the Patriots............
 
Sadly, Jim Johnson, the terrific defensive coordinator of the Philidelphia Eagles died today, losing his battle with cancer. As a lifelong Giants fan, I can say that I always respected the Eagles defense, and Johnson has been a huge part of earning that respect for the last 10 years. I tip my hat to him, and send my sincere condolences to his family, and the Eagles family.:(

Great post! I only wish last paragraph was true, Big Ben has some heavy distractions and his PR is not the best, so not sure how that is going to hurt. Also, side note, if there is any truth to this situation, he will get his just desserts, now, if it is a malicious attack, then that is BS too.

As for the Ravens, better hope Mason decides what he si doing, I am not sure they have the firepower to step up without him.

Glad to see D. Mason is returning to Baltimore, even though I would love to get B. Marshall or A. Boldin to have as a deep threat, if were gonna beat that team from Pennsylvania(not Philly) we need to keep their defenders honest at the line...Sammy
 
Oh my, the Raven defense played great!! offense got over 500 yards, not a bad start even if it's only pre-season...Sammy
