Was looking at the Thomas Gunn advert in the latest issues of Britain at War during a vist to London earlier today and was intrigued to see a new item - described as an "Axis Human Torpedo". It's sitting on a trolly with two crewmen "suiting-up". It's the type the Italian Navy used to put the battleships HMS Valiant and HMS Queen Elizabeth on the bottom of Alexandria Harbour at the end of 1941. I don't think the Kriegsmarine used that particular design. The Royal Navy copied the Italian design for its "Human Torpedoes" so perhaps we might see a RN version sometime. Obviously after starting a range of flying "secret weapons", TG is now turning to martime ones as well! How about an X-Craft!
