As Bertie Wooster might have said, what ho chaps and a good morn to all of you. Been a bit preoccupied with pretty sad family matters for a while so not had much chance to post so thought I'd get the ball a rolling as it were.

So what are we hoping for in the penultimate Dispatch of the year? Looks like our Aussie friends will maybe see the arrival of the new truck? Myself I'm hoping to see those Bomb disposal sets previewed a short while ago and also the two Policemen we saw in the background of the pics. Any new Napoleonics on the Horizon for collectors of that persuasion??? Am really looking forward to this Dispatch as it often dictates what I'll buy in London in December. {bravo}} So roll up roll up my friends, what are you hoping for from our favourite producer next month?

Rob

Good morning, Rob,
was wondering when the "Forthcoming Dispatches" thread would come up? But now it's all good :wink2: :)
Usually I have not much to do with these threads, except reading them, but this time I am looking forward to see the release date of the Aussie Morris Truck, 'cause I am going to get me one of them.
Have just ordered the "Digger" collector's club figure and some Eights Army sets, that's why the Aussie Morris is interesting for me.
We will see, how the november dispatches will influence your buying plans for the London Show, but we probably can rest assured that you will have enough on your wishlist to "burn" the budget {sm4}

I've no doubt you are spot on there my friend! :wink2: Good to see you posting here Konrad. The
Aussie truck looks very nice indeed, and I imagine will be a very popular release.

Cheers

A little birdie told me that it is going to be a very good lot of releases this time. A little bit for everyone and a little surprise out of the box. Simmo.

Rob,

glad to see the monthly digest of guessng games has been started... should give us something to do until this time next week.

Bet it will be more WW2 Germans :) :)

Really want the LOJ Ox cart as recently shown, but not sure of its timing after missing the rest of the series new releases for November. Hoping it will catch up to them in December, fingers crossed, may have to take a whip to them to move the beasts faster. Cheers, Robin.

I am all 'panzered out" so WWII does not really excite me much but the idea of Napoleonic Horse Grenadiers does. Apparently will have to wait for next year for those though.

I think we discussed after the last dispatches that there would be surprises released this year as no manufacturer is going to show all his wares at the chicago show and that is all for the rest of the year. I love the chinese whispers!!!!!

I would expect another SL and hopefully it will be the bomb disposal team. probably expect the ME 109. don't know if I am all panzered out but, I certainly am panzered out with releases that are all the same. so, can we see a Brumbar and a sturmtiger (well, its all about hope is it not???)

Nothing really apart from those would I like to see.

Never........................:wink2::wink2:

I have been collecting for a while so I think I have most of the WWII bases covered. It has to be something a bit out of the ordinary to make me buy some WWII themed set. The bomb disposal set is a good example of something a bit outside of the ordinary.

Yes the bomb disposal figures are something very different and most welcome. The ' For you Fritz' set was the first 'Home front ' type release and I hope there will be many
more. I mean , how cool is this set?^&cool

Its a great set alright.............:)

I thought the Aussie version of the Morris truck wouldn't come out until early 2012 - or was that when the Mickey Mouse version is coming. I hope Northgate Woods isn't planning to buy them all up and use them as Christmas cards. {sm2}{sm4}

Still looking for a Suoma and a SturmTiger.

Yes - Us NAPOLEONIC COLLECTORS remain hopeful for some more releases of the Napoleon in Egypt Range ! - perhaps some other Napoleonic figures as well.

Also - I do look forward to expanding my X-Mas List for some new Battle of Britain items too !! ^&grin
