Toddy,Mate, this is such a great thread and I've only just found it.....doh!{sm2} Impressive work Wayne and nice seeing the man-cave again too!
I've had no luck thus far locating forum board here. You'd think the stuff was made of gold. None of the hobby stores carry it and the craft stores sell everything but. I'll keep trying though.
Hope the dish-lickers are good, no doubt Lucy dog is enjoying all the bits and pieces hitting the floor.{sm4}
please keep the pic's coming......
Cheers Toddy
Wayne...nice work on the chimney....and all those shingles...hahaha...I know that takes time...how many hours do you have invested in it now...I know it's a "labor of love"...
Found out the hard way Mike, not a good thing to mention the war, I mean the hours. I thought I got away with it elsewhere, but no such luck.^&grin, Robin.
Toddy,
Understanding the backwardness of NZ :wink2: I can see why you can't locate any foamboard with ease. You will have to put on your wellies and armed with a search warrant and head to a art supply joint where you may source some.....eg: Takapuna art supplies, 18 Northcroft st. Auckland. (Info received from Brighton CIB.) ^&grin
Live Long and Prosper.
Wayne.
Ta Robin.Really leaping ahead now Wayne. Brilliant. ^&cool, Robin.
I didn't count them Mike but yes many hours but enjoyable.Wayne...nice work on the chimney....and all those shingles...hahaha...I know that takes time...how many hours do you have invested in it now...I know it's a "labor of love"...
Ah! yes my dear Watson...............^&grinYou're full of surprises mate and a regular Sherlock Holmes you are ^&grin.......Takapuna Art Supplies it is then, even though they are across the harbour bridge on the North Shore.
Cheers Toddy
Ta.It looks really excellent, Wayne, great progress!
You remind me now of a question I've had for a while, and that's the question of resources on European architecture in various periods. Do you have any that you use? I've been meaning to collect some sources, and if I find any, I'll post them in our references section.
I look forward to seeing the paint hit the walls!
Prost!
Brad
Ta.very very nice work Wayne, I love this, bravo!!!

Onya mate.Simply superb mate, well done, you must be pleased with it thus far!^&grin
Thanks mate I will have a gander at it.
Yes Robin correct, I have in the past ruined some efforts by not knowing what I was doing re the painting, Bob is much better at it than I so a workshop is in order I think, besides his lovely partner is French :wink2:The painting in my thinking can make or break a piece. Really hope it comes out well, given the hard work you have put into this Wayne. Good luck. Robin.
