"Sneak preview of our new FFL which will be on display at the London show.
There will be 6 figures in the initial release in 1/30 scale, with a limited
run of 100 figures each planned."

Good question. I can't ID the weapons for certain. The rifles look like the 1886 Lebel but if so the two barrel bands are incorrect as there should be just the one where the sling attaches. The Berthier also had one band and the rifle certainly isn't the MAS36. So my guess is the Lebel which could mean 1920ish, BUT the officer is holding what very much appears to be a Walther P-38. If so , that nixes 1920's and jumps to post WW2. Whatever the period is, the figures look good. -- Al

I think you are right about the rifle being the 1886 Lebel. It's certainly not the Berthier (I hope). The P-38 seems unlikely but it does look like one I agree. I wondered if it was supposed to be a Savage Model 1907 but again this will need to be tweaked.

Being a FFL "fan" myself i can't wait to see these masters finished..from their coats i can say they are from the 1900-1910 period..the classic "Beau Geste " era...

It is certain that Thomas Gunn will join my FFL group. Need to clear some shelf space.

Mark,

They need to be post WW1 - tempted to say some funny time after WW2 - for sure, the officer is holding a WW2 German pistol P.38 Walther and they were adopted by the German Army in 1940. The soldiers have a rather short 8 mm bolt action M1888/93 Lebel rifle, and these were standard issue between late 1889 - 1930. If these soldiers come in the traditional Blue over coats and white trausers.....we will have a problem....Blue over coats were no longer in use as of 1916, all going over to khaki......
