Of course, it is a personal choice. While I have offered one viewpoint on a pricing trend in the whole diecast/resin industry (no doubt driven by numerous factors outside of K&C's control), as a long-time K&C collector and aficionado, I am appreciative of the detail, accuracy and features of these upcoming tanks. Their future owners will be fortunate indeed. I am certainly glad I got the Winter Tiger and I am slowly building up a group of K&C figures to go with it. Thank you for your continued commitment to bringing history to life for the collector community.

Thankyou my friend, while I know these new Tigers are not cheap I truly believe they are still great value especially when you add up all their many advantages and special features.

Another manufacturer is releasing a fully metal Panzer III complete with all opening hatches and internals and it's $499US.

So I believe your comments are correct

Trust you have recovered from Covid.

Many thanks Mark, out of curiosity, does the other manufacturer also include 2x different sets of original crew figures and first class, full colour packaging with their Panzer III..?
Also, I’m happy to say I seem to have recovered from the dreaded Covid…I certainly hope I don’t catch it again any time soon!

Doesn't come with any figures, it will be either winter or grey as targeted Stalingrad.

Haven't purchased AFV from this manufacturer but figure boxes similar to K&C not as colorful.

No Wayne, I’m not interested in producing ‘fancy boxes’ to add to the price.

Since the earliest days of King & Country what we have always attempted to provide collectors with is first class packaging that is sturdy, attractive and often informative.

The cost of that packaging is and always has been borne by K&C because we believe our products should arrive in a multitude of collectors’ homes all over the world in perfect condition. To achieve that is our responsibility and therefore ‘our cost’…not the collecor’s.

All of our of our model pricing is based on actual factory and transportation costs and nothing else.
So Wayne there you have it…Enjoy your weekend!

Thanks for sharing that info about the boxes Andy. I know its been speculated on TF many times before how much the boxes and packaging must affect the overall retail price of any given item and know this has been debated about other manufacturers too.

Living at the *** end of the pacific and relatively isolated means all TS products entering NZ have to be transported some considerable distance and change hands many times over. I've yet to receive a new K&C product damaged or seen a box dinged which in itself is hugely reassuring given the value of the goods involved. This is also testament to the packing of those sellers/dealers I've had the luxury and pleasure of conversing with and doing business' with over the years too

I want a box that is sturdy and ensures the stuff i bought inside arrives safely. K & C's boxes do that, the box art is great, often makes the box easier to reconise when packing or unpacking. Fancy is not a word i would have used, more practical and informative, much prefer them to the plain white boxes i used to get stuff in.

There is also the intangible emotional feeling, the anticipation of receiving a new set and unpacking it. I think the box with the artwork on it adds to that feeling. You know that feeling when you open the plain cardboard box, take out the K & C box and put it on the table and open it. When for a time, might be a few Seconds, a whole Second or even a Zeptosecond [0.000000000000000000001 of a second] when we feel 12 years old again. The anticipation of a new set. While there is also the practical branding issue, we all reconise a K & C box.

Simple question taken the wrong way and now is bigger than Ben Hur.
 
For my part, I must say that I particularly appreciate the K&C box which combines robustness and elegance... in addition the photo of the contents placed on the box is a very good idea because it completely facilitates classification since we can now with a simple glance!
searching by reference was a bit tedious...
I would like to make a small comment in passing...
WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO FREE NEW PLAINS INDIANS HORSEMEN??????
