Having received the X-mas edition of the collector I am very excited to see the upcoming release of the 251 which seems to have been long overdue. Although, I do not collect the Afrika Korp, I look forward to a early war gray version, a Normandy camo version and dare I say one for the Battle of Arnhem. Glad to finally see the 251 arrive. Hopefully, maybe we will see a re-release for either the Sd.Kfz. 231 or 232.

I do hope the GREY one will look like this model. The 2 side pieces I think are for bridge crossing

And 2 machine guns please - on front and rear

The Afrika Korps Sdkfz 251 looks awesome...you can almost bet on getting a grey one...Winter & SS camo version...
I am there with you for wanting a re-release of a Sdkfz 232 or 231...Was also maybe hoping for a Sdkfz 263...All these AFV's are classic pieces of german equipment IMO...Well shall see what 2013 brings us !

Very nice but would hate to see the price

It would be a tasty amount!! saying that its easy enough to scratch build the bridge attachments to create this version

I think the bridge parts denote that example shown as the specialist engineers vehicle - but I can't remember what the designation was? It'd probably prove pretty popular in any case!

This is the actual model...

Hoping for a cannon to be towed and included in this new yet to be released set would be a bit "too much" perhaps?..... ^&grin

why not a couple like these
with infrared and with rocket launcher
guy:)

For Normandy and the Bulge K & C will have to do the later "D" version, which they have already done, but the version mounting a 75mm PAK.

An early war grey version should hands down be quite popular...................IMO of course ^&cool

Probably a Sd.Kfz. 251/7 I Assault Pioneer vehicle which included the small assault bridge ramps.

I agree. This would be my preference. It would be really cool if they actually were able to create a model B, but that would probably require a whole new mold. :(

I just noticed how well the paint scheme of the K&C Sd Kfz 251 will match with the TGM Sd Kfz 253. They should make a nice pair!

My own personal preference would be a 251 halftrack done in gray to go along with the other recent releases ^&cool

PA44,

I am willing to bet a grey , winter and an SS version are a foregone conclusion ! Such an iconic vehicle , i have the Afrika Korps version on pre-order...Would also like to see some early war grey AFV's like a 35t , 38t & Pzkpfw 2...

Joe

I love all of the K&C half-tracks going back to WS 13, they just seem to be getting better and better. The weathering on this one looks amazing, it is an immediate must have for me when it is released.

I also like all the suggestions in this post, you can’t have too many halftracks!
