Only 2 days to go to the beginning of the new series. Anyone else looking forward to it? I think it's the best thing ever.

Certainly looking forward to the big finale and an epic battle, no doubt with loads of twists and turns along the way!

I am sure it will be BBQ time for the bad guys with the dragons :wink2::wink2:!

just binged out season 5-6 to re-familiarize myself with who killed who...
and who is left...
have found myself rooting for Cerci and the Wildlings...
but still favor Jon Snow and Daneryis...
let the conspiracies and wars begin...

I've watched the whole lot again over the last 6 months or so, especially enjoyed season 5 and 6. I can't help liking Cersei, the way she dealt with the high sparrow and co.

I also love the wildlings I was gutted when the last giant died at the "battle of the b**t* rds" . That's the thing with GOT you never know who's next to cop it.

The 7 episodes this year cost more than the usual 10 episode seasons so look for big things.

seems like a slam dunk if you match sides...

Daenerys...
3 dragons (full grown)...
the Imp...
Varys...
Dorne...
House of Tyrell...
the 100,000 Dorthraki...
the Sell Swords...
the Unsullied...
1/2 the Ironborns (Yara & Theon)...
vs...
Westeros...

am I forgetting anyone?

the winner gets the Whitewalkers...

or they all band together and fight the Whitewalkers...

Each episode is 59 minutes long not counting adverts and the seventh episode is 81minutes long. I think it's going to be a big battle on the first episode. The trailer shows Daenerys at Casterly Rock which is the Lannister stronghold.

You've just about covered it and Westeroes is divided. Whoever wins the war for the iron throne has to fight the reall war in the north. Hopefully the north will stay out of the war in the south and be there to fight the whitwalkers.

Usually the big episode is #9 but we have no 9 this year.

not the greatest episode...little action other than the first 5 minutes...still...it's set things up for next week...

I enjoyed last night's episode, sets up a good bit of storylines. I am routing for the Dragons!

I thought it was a pretty good episode.GOT always starts out a little slow and then speeds up episode after episode.

Just watched it now, good episode. The hound has really changed and a twist of fate how he ended up back at the farm where he was a few years back and buried the bodies of the father and child who he robbed in the past.
Arya got revenge on the Freys in a big way. Can't wit for the next episode.

Another twist was ser Jorah Mormont being treated for grey scale at the Citadel by Samwell Tarly. I hope Sam realises who he is.
Also the white walkers have got dead Giants in their army.

I thought the episode was good. It's like every setting is on a par with block buster movies.

If you have never seen GOT I would highly recommend watching it on box sets it is awesome.

I agree with this. They usually slow down the pace in the beginning to establish a few elements of the story, and then, when you least expect it, the action picks up and all hell breaks loose. Yeah, GOT!! ^&grin

I thought Tarly told Jorah that he not only served with his father but was witness to the mutiny murder?
