Game of Thrones series 7 (1 Viewer)

7 episodes isn't nearly enough and if we have to wait until 2019 for the remaining 8 I may not live to see it.{eek3}^&grin

What a battle that was and hopefully still another big battle to come. I found myself wanting the Lannisters to win. Old Bron on the scorpion I thought he was going to get fried.

Has Tyrrion changed sides after seeing the Lannister get a bashing. I've watched it 3 times now.

Awesome show yet again, always delivers, makes you want more! And I am rooting for the Dragons, enough with the spoiled brats, burn em all!

Episode 5 - spoilers!

Yes the Dragon battle was awesome! I see now that Jaimie knows his force has no chance. Some people, even Cersi, are shifting positions. I wonder whether Bron will last much longer since he helped Jaimie 'betray' her. Quite a few 2nd and third rank characters have been killed off but there's scope for more.

Was anyone else thinking the 'magnificent seven' at that closing scene?

Excellent finale to a great season 7.Going to be hard waiting for final season which may not be only 2019.{eek3}

They should have done a full season. Now we get to wait 1.5 years and I wonder how much of the story will change, that's a long time!! I guess we have the ice dragon question answered. WOW!

I wonder if we will rejoin in the middle of the war since it will be so long?

So the next question is - who is the Night King? You would have to figure it somehow is a powerful figure from the past or is it just the original White Walker from the dawn of time so to speak?

I am wondering if it is a Tagaryen?

Who knows

Jon is the child of Ned Starks sister and Raegar targarian (Dany's brother)
As he is her brother's child - she's his aunt

I question Brandon Stark's visions since when Sam arrives, he asks what he's doing there...UH, shouldn't you know Mr/ Three Eyed Raven {sm3}

I think they said Brandon can see the past only...

but he also seems to control the ravens to fly where he wants to see the present...

I thought that made them 1st cousins . . . . . I guess I am confused too . . . . And how about the demise of Little Finger!
:smile2: Mike

I was a surprised at the demise of Little Finger. That one caught me off guard. He was a snake though and had it coming.

John from Texas

My favorite part of the episode. Watching the behind the scenes segment after the show was interesting to hear them talk about the build up and using the tension of so many previously beloved characters deaths to create it. I was on the edge of my seat.

In the behind the episode segment they discuss how this was a writing device to tie a lot of threads and related tidbits together.

The end of Littlefinger was great! And quite the surprise too. I have to say his story was a bit of a mess though. So he started the war by misrepresenting/lying about things but to what ultimate purpose? Revenge against Ned - sure. But the whole business with Sansa just made no sense? Why did he ride in to save Jon at the Battle of the Bastards? If he'd waited till Jon's army was destroyed, he could've wiped out the Ramsey's next and had the whole lot to himself.

I think Littlefinger saved Jon's army to impress Sansa and I think he came to enjoy destroying people with his double crossing ways.
