Game of Thrones (1 Viewer)

I'm watching it...I just saw the televised Episode 6 this week and they let you watch Episode 7 on HBOGO a week in advance...I saw it too...but won't spoil it for you...^&grin
BUT IT'S REALLY GOOD!!!!

I was disappointed to see HBOGO wasn't made available for Comcast subscribers. Oh well gives me something to look forward to on Sunday.

How about the end of episode 6.That was different.{eek3}I saw it coming but not that soon and not that way.

Episode 7 was very good and has me eagerly awaiting this coming Sunday. I really liked "Roberts" character. I knew it was gonna happen sooner or later I just wished it was later.

Surprisingly I discovered that there are 3 more books that go along with "Game of Thrones". I ordered all of them to my Nook so I have a lot o reading ahead of me.

There is no set formula on this one.No guarantee of who's going to live and who's going to die.Same with good guys/bad guys.Your opinion of each character may change.Myself I can already see that the Lannisters may have some just grievances. But that doesn't give them cause to push a boy off a ledge.{eek3}^&grin

Have to admit it's got me hooked as well-when I first read the promo reviews I thought it smacked of Lord of the Rings (I must be the only guy in the world who has not seen the film trilogy) which is definitely not my cup of tea.
But Game of Thrones has a certain je ne sais quoi that is very addictive.

Bob...I'm hooked also...

I have not been as excited over an HBO series since Deadwood or the Sopranos...

so many unusual roles cast in this series...the detailed view into their cultures...the treacherous characters behind every turn...

the dozen or so different plots to every show...is probably my most favorite part of the direction of the show...that you watch so many stories unfold that will all probably be entertwined at some point...

it gives me a lot to guess at...

I have always liked Peter Dinklage (Death at a Funeral...The Station Agent)...Sean Bean (Lord of the Rings) and Mark Addy (Still Standing) ...hardly really big names...but solid actors...everyone seems well cast...

I justed watched a Netflix delivery call Black Death with Sean Bean...a very similar period character to the one he plays in Game of Thrones...but I was disappointed in the movie as a whole...

This is the series I most look forward to watching each week, nice to see a fantasy series aimed at the older audience for a change!

ps wouldn't p_ss Drogo off, he looks like he can handle himself in a fight!!!

Great show. Camelot I was out after episode 8 but 9 dragged me back. I'm just so out on the whole enemy looks like one of us...think it's a excuse to let the effects department off for a week.

The Horse King did own in combat...but my money is still on the younger Stark sister.

I haven't watch Camelot since episode 5 but will catch up.Disappointed in it.Game of Thrones on the other hand I look forward each week.Wish there was more episodes instead of only 10.

Well there are currently 4 books and a 5th to be released soon. Next season should coincide with the second book "A Clash of Kings". Hopefully this series has a good following and it will return next season.

I read the book so I kinda knew it was coming but what do you guys think about last nights episode? Out of all the characters I wish this one stuck around a little longer (won't name the person just incase someone hasn't seen it).

I'd heard on another forum what happens.I just hope somebody gets that little b.....d.

I gotta tell you...

the last episode's ending really shocked me...

I'm not going to spoil it for anyone...

but I never saw that coming...

I was floored and am still hoping it was a dream sequence by Arya and what I saw didn't really happen...

but I doubt that...

I'm hating that little fart Prince Joffrey...or King Joffrey now...^&grin

We only had episode 9 on last night, so won't find out what happens until 20th June, now I really can't wait, sounds like a very gripping ending, better steer clear of this thread for a week though! ^&grin
