Game of thrones ! (1 Viewer)

Appreciate the video on the battle, having been a back ground artist in both Glory and Gettysburg, always been in awe on how film crews make this come to life. CGI can only go so far, the use of real people and horses shows in the end product. That many horses at a full charge will actually vibrate through the ground just like a tank. Awesome, I agree that one of the greatest moments of the season was the back story on Hordor, amazing that nothing in this story is random. I think Jon is not the best leader but is becoming one. Some of the greatest commanders in history only become that way because they survive their mistakes. Just like Jon snow, a lot of luck in surviving battles like that. My predictions:

1. Cersie - gets convicted but gets even
2. Jon and Sansa - need to clear the air on Little Finger and his help. She had a number of opportunities to tell Jon he reached out to him and they would have more men. She maybe playing him so he is not a threat, let him sacrifice his army while hers is still strong.
3. Dany - starts to plan her move to Westeros
4. Arya - her and the Hound have a reunion?

Those are my thoughts

I am a little confused about Arya, as I recall in the books she became a ruthlessly efficient assasin and face changer. She, was one of the most interesting characters because of it, maybe just bad memory?:p
Maybe it's time to reread.

Ray...your memory is fine...don't re-read...throw the book's version out for the sake of comparison...Martin's version has been discarded to some point...I remember they mentioned in discussing the Martin outline...that she was the central character throughout the rest of the story...but they are finished with Martin's version as they have passed him up (he writes too slow) and HBO is creating their own version of how the story will be told...

They sat down with Martin and went over what his vision for future books would be so they are passing him as far as the books go but still basically follow his vision. He was the one who told them how Hodor got his name. That wasn't created from the tv series writers.

I think for the Stark name to regain it's glory it's going to have to be from Sansa and or Arya. When you think about it the Stark men aren't the brightest bulbs in the pack.Ned was too honest and honorable and it cost him his life.Do not piss off Cersei! Robb goes into a snakes den after insulting the snake by not marrying one of his daughters after pledging to do so.And bring his new wife with him {eek3} adding insult to injury. Brann doesn't listen to the three eyed raven and not only turns Hodor retarded but also gets him killed. Rickon doesn't even try to zig and zag to escape Ramsey, and finally Jon has made some decsions that haven't turned out too well and the other night he was just plain stupid.

Yes, apparently the writers have Martin's endpoint in mind and will get there, but with a few deviations.

If I was Martin however, I'd give a lot of thought to changing a few more things so that there's a lot of new stuff in the last books. He could even completely write the end that he was planning on.

This is really good. Very enjoyable and educational. Thank you for posting.

Is that the same guy who played Loras in earlier years? It doesn't seem like it.

Ray...
after watching that episode...
I bet you're not as confused as you thought...
Arya's visit to Frey caught me off guard 100%...
face changer and assassin...
nice little pie she baked him...

Cercei...
I have a love/hate relationship with her...
I have gone from despising her...
to feeling sorry for her...
to begging for her revenge...

nice trial...
glad to see the High Sparrow and his crew knocked out...
especially cousin Lancel and his funky looking forehead...
Pycelle the Grand Maester...no more young girls for him...
kind of sad to see Margery and her brother go...I saw some good in them...
would of liked to seen King Tommen attending the trial...he sucks big time...
but his end suited me...

the piece de resistance...Septa Unella left with Ser Clagane...
"Shame...Shame...Shame"...what a fitting line...

long live Queen Cerei...^&grin

still loving Davos...wish he had taken care of the Red Queen over Stannish's daughter on the pyre...

was surprised to see Jon Snow has both Stark and Targaryen blood in him...
does this make him some distant relative to Daenerys?
glad he is the King of the North now...

Dany, the Imp (Hand of the Queen)...her big birds and her armies are on the warpath now...
they should arrive in the Seven Kingdoms by next season...^&grin...
the Imp vs. Cercei...
Cercei has no allies...
even Dorne and Grandma Tyrell hate her...I think Varys will talk them into being allies with Dany...
everybody hates the Lanisters...
the Freys lost dad...he was despicable...and the two heirs...
so...she's on her own...
next season should be lots of battles...
Cercei is gonna need lots of Wyldefire...

aren't they 1/2 siblings? Same father?

I'm interested to see how Jamie reacts to Cierci after her actions cause the death of his last child. I wonder if he will turn his back on her as well

hahaha...no idea Zach...
but they are related somehow...
and the Targaryn blood in him...
and being a male...
will probably make him a more likely candidate over Dany to rule the Iron Throne...

nah...
I don't think you can blame her for his jumping...
she sent Clegane to stop him from attending the trial...
Jamie is in love...hahaha...head over heels...his own sister...{eek3}

Remember the mad king was her farther and his son (Dany's brother)was the one that got Ned's sister pregnant.
