Game of thrones ! (2 Viewers)

Remember the mad king was her farther and his son (Dany's brother)was the one that got Ned's sister pregnant.
Mark

The ages don't really mesh here? Dany's brother was weird but he looked no more than 30? When compared to the ages of Ned and Jon as we see them, it doesn't really work. I take it though this is made clearer in the books? I also take it, that Ned's sister was kidnapped or something?

Maybe she was kidnapped, maybe not.Heard theory that maybe the mad king is Jon's father.

We are not talking about the brother that got his "crown of gold".Her other brother is Rhaegar. The one killed by Drogo was Viserys.

nah...
I don't think you can blame her for his jumping...
she sent Clegane to stop him from attending the trial...
Jamie is in love...hahaha...head over heels...his own sister...{eek3}

I would not be so sure about that. Her drive for power is what pushed him over the edge... ahem, I am just going to let that slide.

It will be interesting to see if he does blame her, or buys into her as the victim. Cool choice for the writers.

after watching that episode...
I bet you're not as confused as you thought...
Arya's visit to Frey caught me off guard 100%...
face changer and assassin...
nice little pie she baked him...

Cercei...
I have a love/hate relationship with her...
I have gone from despising her...
to feeling sorry for her...
to begging for her revenge...

nice trial...
glad to see the High Sparrow and his crew knocked out...
especially cousin Lancel and his funky looking forehead...
Pycelle the Grand Maester...no more young girls for him...
kind of sad to see Margery and her brother go...I saw some good in them...
would of liked to seen King Tommen attending the trial...he sucks big time...
but his end suited me...

the piece de resistance...Septa Unella left with Ser Clagane...
"Shame...Shame...Shame"...what a fitting line...

long live Queen Cerei...^&grin

still loving Davos...wish he had taken care of the Red Queen over Stannish's daughter on the pyre...

was surprised to see Jon Snow has both Stark and Targaryen blood in him...
does this make him some distant relative to Daenerys?
glad he is the King of the North now...

Dany, the Imp (Hand of the Queen)...her big birds and her armies are on the warpath now...
they should arrive in the Seven Kingdoms by next season...^&grin...
the Imp vs. Cercei...
Cercei has no allies...
even Dorne and Grandma Tyrell hate her...I think Varys will talk them into being allies with Dany...
everybody hates the Lanisters...
the Freys lost dad...he was despicable...and the two heirs...
so...she's on her own...
next season should be lots of battles...
Cercei is gonna need lots of Wyldefire...

i thought Tommen's move was brilliant. If he stood up to his mom, she would be proud. His action was the only way to actually beat her. I thought it was "great" from a story point of view. I wonder what we would be like with her as a mother and getting all that power as a kid. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. I was actually proud of him standing up to Cersei and making his own choice, but maybe I have mommy issues! :):p:tongue:

No doubt Arya assasination was more to how I understood Arya, still a little confused, why did the dying women call Ned Stark "big Brother"? but he wasn't the father?
The entire world of Fire and Ice is run by Women exept for the King of the North and John Stark, liitle finger also.

Mike, watched the final and a great way to set up the next season. Here are some of my thoughts,

excellent to see that they finally said that Jon Snow is half Stark and half Targaryen. Really liked how they morphed from the baby to Jon. Some say it is either Regar or the Mad King himself as the father. That is why Ned needed to hide him from both sides maybe? That would make him either Dany's half brother or nephew and Sansa's cousin. Still not legitimized so would be hard to make him king of everything. Love that little Lady Mormet calling them out and Jon becoming King of the North. Be interesting to see Sansa and Little Fingers reaction to it all.

Arya is still crossing off names from her list, she just seems to enjoy it more now, a little scary to me.

That whole trial thing was wild, Cercei is one person that knows how to play the game. It will be interesting to see how Jaimie reacts to this as he struggles with doing the right thing. He killed the mad king to prevent something like that from happening and now Cercie has done it. Wow she was cold before, now with no kids and nothing to lose, and no real friends it will be interesting.

Dany is coming to town and she has friends and dragons, looks like she will just roll over what is left of the Lannisters, will have to wait and see.

And then we have the Army of the Dead coming to Westeros, interesting that the Wall has magic that may stop them.

We are now down to the Targaryen's, Starks and Lanisters neading for a collision...

Come on April 2017

Yes, Ned Stark adopted the child of Rhaegnar (or his dad) Targeryan and his sister as his own "bastard." If not, people who wanted the Targeryans stamped out (same people searching for Dany and her full brother) would have killed the baby now known as John Snow. Our Ned never had his moment of weakness. He pretended he did to save his sister's child.

If everyone picked sides and fought tomorrow…
this is how I see the alliances…

Dany…
3 Dragons…
The Imp…
The Unsullied Army…
The Dothraki‘s Army…
Tormund and the Wildlings…
Yara…Theon and their army…
The Tyrells…Varys will get them allied…
Dorne…again Varys will get them on Dany’s side…
Jon Stark…
The North houses with allegiance to him…
The Blackfish…if still alive…
The Tullys Army…
The Brotherhood without Banners…
Sandor Clegane…
Little Finger…
The Vale Army…

Versus

Cercei…
Gregor Clegane…which Sandor will kill…
Jamie…
The Lanister Army…
The Iron Throne Army…

Can’t figure where Brienne of Tarth will go…she loves Jamie…but swore an oath to Sansa…and she takes her oaths seriously…

Don’t know if Lizard Man will find a cure…but Mormont would be on Dany’s side…

If the Red Queen is still in the story…she will side with Jon Snow…

Little Finger…I put him against Cercei…but he is impossible to figure…he always has his own agenda…including sitting on the Iron Throne himself…

Who am I missing?

Or will they all ally and fight the Whitewalkers?

Love that little Lady Mormet calling them out and Jon becoming King of the North.

Yes...
agreed...
that was very cool...
Layanna Mormont...
that tiny sassy girl shaming all these big powerful houses...

what did she pledge when asked...
all 62 of her men?

the stole both of those scenes...
a no nonsense...
wise beyond her ears child...

Bear Island must be a tiny kingdom...

is it peculiar that she has the same first name as Ned Stark's sister...
Lyanna...
spelled a tad different...
but you never know with Game of Thrones...

Jon being a targarean is going to be huge against the white walkers. He khalisi and the dragons are going to unleash hell! {sm4}

Mike, I agree with your line up of sides.

I think the Frey's will side with the Lannisters

Little Finger will go there too. He has to avoid the Tyrell's since Grandma Tyrell said she has something on him and would not hesitate to use it.

Brienne is too honorable to fight with the Lanisters and will go with the Starks and Sansa.

I agree that the Red Witch will side with Jon Snow, it was obvious she was hurt when he banished her. Do not forget Dany has her own Red Witch too.

Layanna stole both of those scenes and even the one when they went to talk to Ramsey. There is a shot of her behind Jon when Ramsey was talking to them and she was just staring her down. She even stole the scene when she sent the letter to Stannis. Got to love it. Don't know the actress but what a great find for the show.

Yea, she committed all 62 of her fighting men. There is some back story to Bear island, her family and her name. Can't remember it. been a while since I read the books.

I think just those in the pie!!!! {eek3}

Regarding alliances - I didn't see it, but I've been told there were flags on the ships on the fleet belonging to Tyrell and Martell, so some in Westeros have already chosen

Zach, good idea about looking at the ships for ally flags, there are some Freys left, just no leaders left, there was a small group defending the Twins... Of course Arya is still on the loose with a new cook book so many there will not be any by next season... Chris

Got interrupted by the grand kids, meant to close with "there may not be any left by next season..." Chris
