Well its been a while but a few photos I did to go with an article for Toy soldier Collector magazine i recently penned.
Split living between Cardiff and our small village on Dartmoor in Devon, demands of a 50 - 60 hour a week job, house renovations (made more complicat3ed on a listed 17th century cottage) and all the family stuff with siblings, grown up kids, the joy of grandchildren, elderly parents and every other Saturday spent watching my local footy team have restricted my time spent with the wonderful hobby of toy soldiers.
I still get the parcels on a fairly regular basis, mainly John Jenkins with a bit of K&C, WB, First Legion and my first War Park models. I just do not have time to do much with then. Oh how I yearn for the time I had in New Zealand and Tasmania when most Saturday mornings were spent playing and photographing the little men. Of course 12,000 of the little blighters are in storage half way around the world, which doesn't help. But it was great to spend last Saturday photo'ing the Trojan Wars and crafting an article.
The posts and photos I see on this forum are amazing and in truth encourage me to spend more money.
Anyway enough from me as I start another Saturday devoid of toy soldier action!
