Thanks everyone for the comments.
Wayne, this is the second vehicle with its inspiration from the Hurley photo of Australian troops passing the Cloth Hall in Ypres

As you can see (despite the photographic disguise{sm2}), I could do with a few more toy vehicles to practice on. The underside brand seems to be CCC - made in China - a 'pull-back' drive toy. Lucky with the scale as you can see{sm4}.
Practice makes perfect, I know you will get it just right. The makers of all figures must soon begin to produce some Great War trucks, wagons and etc as the time is near..100years.
Wayne.

Looks great - Wayne and his paddle pop sticks and you with cardboard - you two could build a plane!

"Private, grab the keys and put it in the garage; there's a good chap"...

Just breathtaking. The best diorama I have seen. Magnificent.

Getting a bit miffed about having to wait in the UK.

Condolences, but they are worth the wait; it's a great set. Most are through to Australia - only four to go. There are a few in that are not in these pics, but I was dodging showers; the ground treatment would not dry enough to paint and the light was only barely enough for the pics. I'll add some more next weekend. There's a featured dugout and a sniper post to the left foreground on the dio base - :wink2:

Are they your own trench sections? They look good. Being from where you are do you like the Australian Lighthorse models from you know who?!
