Nicely done, Steve. Love that beer cart. You did a great job creating a realistic scene from the picture (and a muddy one at that). K&C's Roman Auxiliary soldiers are excellent; esp. like the blue variety.
Got a few myself (perhaps I'll have to create a beer cart now). ^&grin

My inspiration, one of great Ron Embleton's illustrations.
Before I had a chance to scroll down to the start of the thread I said to myself that this looks like a scene taken from Ron Embleton's book Hadrian's Wall in the days of the Romans which I've a copy of and one of my favourite books on my library shelves.
You have created a terrific scene here, well done to you.
Nothing better than getting inspiration from a book photo and being able to replicate it in miniature. Brilliant. Robin.
Nailed it here Steve......:salute::
Great rendition of the picture. :salute:: Chris

Another wonderful scene Steve!! Always love checking in on the forum and seeing your works.
What did you use or how did you do the mud in your scene?
