July 3rd, just south of the copse of trees, a young major leads a last desperate charge over the stone wall through a gap in the Union line.

Captain Andrew Cowan's 1st New York Independent Battery of 3 inch ordnance rifles rapidly reloads as his gunners are dropped by minnie balls. Gun corporals give the ready signal and the command to fire is given.

The battery monument at Gettysburg reads "Double canister at ten yards."

Nicely done Chris . . . . . All of a sudden it seems like there has been a lot of Confederate casualty releases which you have used very well in this series of photos tha tyou have offered fo rour viewing pleasure. Now we nee as many (or more :wink2:) Union casulaty figures to keep things in balance . . . . . .

outstanding!!!!!!!!!!!! Brad

Thanks for the comments and like votes guys.

Mike, we definitely need Union casualty figs. WB has a good offering with the Iron Brigade, but we need regular infantry and artillery crew figs "taking hits." I separated the two Confed figs that were joined from the fence collection. Chris

I agree with nicely done Chris {bravo}}casualty figures do make for a more realistic scene (hopefully a bag of dead Mahdists are in the pipeline as well).
