BradI have a few glossy Napoleonics: K & C, Beau Geste and Little Legion, which I would like to get out and shoot for this thread but for now this is what I have photos of (taken from the K & C Glossy thread).
Tradition of London's "Napoleonic Spoils of War!" - castings painted for fellow forum member Konrad (Kogu).

Yes, Jeff did an excellent job here again. A beautiful set.
Here a few closeups of my favorite scene.

I,m not much of a photographer but here is a couple of glossy naps
from Imperial
I completely forgot to add Imperial to the list when I started this thread. I knew I was forgetting something important. Very nice looking figures. Too bad they are so scarce these days. Almost as tough as Trophy to track down and fetch pretty good prices on ebay as well.
MD
yes , even at a local level they are thin on the ground in the secoundary market [and hardly ever Naps , which are my favourites] .
As for trophy ,I knew almost nothing about them before joining the forum
and have been blown away by the variety of sets they produced.
I,ve picked up the odd WW1 set but their is no way i,m joining the hunt for
any others at this late stage as it would result in financial ruin .
cheers Rob
Good to see you representing the team! Reinforcements have arrived!
There are some exceptional peices in this thread! I particularly like that duel between the French officer and the English calvaryman! Very nice!
Gentle Friends,
Just a couple more. I hope you have enjoyed viewing the band.
Warmest personal regards,
Pat
Certainly have Pat! That is some fine paint finish.
Jeff
Very nice Looking band Pat , is that a single set or combination of more than one ? .
Regards Rob
Hi Rob,
Thanks for your kind comment and your interest in my band. The band was manufactured by Beau Geste and it consists of three separate sets. These sets are:
1. Set #39 - Drummers Line, Regt. D'Isenbourg, 1809
2. Set #40 - First Line Music Band, Regt. D'Isenbourg, 1809
3. Set #41 - Winds Line Music Band, Regt. D'Isenbourg, 1809
All three sets have long since been retired by Beau Geste. I feel very fortunate to have these figures included in my collection.
Warmest personal regards,
Pat
