Thanks for the tip about Alexander's Toy Soldiers, but I'm an avid fan of Nik's figures already, and just love what he does in the Napoleonic range.
I know that this is a gloss manufacture's discussion page, but I paint my ATS in matt because I think Alan Caton's sculpting shows of better in that finish.
When I was in UK last year, for the March Toy Soldier Show, I met up with Nik and inspected his vast array of gloss figures on display. A few weeks later I went to his home in suburban London and saw his toy soldier business in operation and spoke extensivley with him about his range. When I wanted to purchase some castings, he didn't have them in stock, but he turned on the metal pot, found the centifugal mould, set up the casting machine and, then and there, poured the figure for me!
