PS: Cobie is a HOTTIE and I saw her with Mike Miller last week!

Spurs up at the half by 7, if they can make a good run to start the second half and play solid defense....Party at John"s crib!!!:)...Sammy

Gents,

Okay I have been beating this drum this entire thread that the Spurs played like a TEAM against the Miami Lebrons. Yup, once again the Heat put all of their faith and trust in ONE man and this victory is proof positive that the TEAMS win Championships, not individuals. So, to all the Haters, Fakers and Nay Sayers I salute you tonight knowing that I was right all the way.

The definition of a Champ in life is how you get up from getting the bejessuzz knocked out of you. Yes, they got humiliated last year and came back with humility and and I burning desire to come back with the humble pie recipe in hand. Pop took that loss and brought his players back to a new level in basketball. The bottom line: The Spurs are the best TEAM this year and have a trophy to prove it.

GO SPURS GO...FOREVER!

PS: GO USA GO!!!

while I don't/won't like him...unless he gets traded to the Lakers...^&grin...

then I will love that fingernail chewing fool...

Lebron...

probably the best player in the NBA right now...again...for the 3rd game...had no supporting cast...

Wade should hang his head in shame...the news was that when the playoffs started...he was finally healthy...and he hardly showed up again tonight...he just stunk the joint up...

but the way San Antonio moved the ball around...and played defense...not many teams would have beat them tonight...

Miami scored 11 points in the second quarter...11 points in 12 minutes......the Spurs really shut them down...

also...

I like Popovich...he seems like a great motivator and seems to keep it simple in the time out huddles...just issuing small advice that makes perfect sense at that moment...

Congrats, the Spurs have been the best team this year and have just played fantastic basketball for the last 3 games. Their team work is a basketball clinic for anyone who likes the game. I especially like their passing, they play like a team should play IMO, low on ISOS, high on SHARING. Hope the Lakers will one day reach this standard..:rolleyes2:
Now on to the Basketball World Cup, another final between Spain and the USA? It would be fantastic with Spain playing at home...:p

LeBron must feel like he went into a time machine and came out still on the 2010 Cavaliers; he got zero help for the most part this whole series.

They went up 22-6, pulled a couple of starters and put bench players in and the whole thing went into the toilet, San Antonio's bench vs Miami's bench was a monumental mismatch.

Battier, Chalmers, Birdbrain, Ray Allen and the rest of them stunk out the joint, their bench was very good the past couple of years, it let them down this year, that is for sure.

LeBron is now 2-3 in the finals....................

I am a grieving NY Knicks fan but I have to say the Spurs played the game the way it was intended.....TEAM BALL!
This series should be mandatory viewing for every High School, College and pro player. No superstar antics and "give me the ball chucking" (Carmello!!!! and others).
Also a great coach and GM who put together a team of unselfish and talented role players.....defence and offence.

The fact that Duane Wade of Miami is playing hurt did not help their cause but their bench just couldn't step up.

If the Spurs can stay motivated I think they can do it again next season.

As far as the Knicks go maybe my grandchildren will see another championship team.
