Guys, over the last week I was dragged into a very nasty row on here and now we have more unpleasentness on the FW thread, its all kind of sickened me and so to clear the air and bring some fun back into this area of the forum lets have an old fashioned TF why we like K&C type of thing!.

Now this is the K&C area,so with all due respect to those who don't collect them we are allowed to do this here,so...

Whats been you stand out K&C releases of the year so far.

For me it would have to be

Spitfire
Firefly
Ambulance

(and an honourable mention for the Arnhem Jeep)

So guys, sod all this fighting, lets enjoy the hobby!:):)

No doubting it,that Panther is a beaut:cool:

I like the way the canvass is removable on this, and yes I think multiples of this would look good in a resupply type of scene.

Guys..

Just too much to put in one post to say why the stuff is good. I could talk about the July releases but, then I think about June's and, its never ending each month the stuff comes through thick and fast and is always good.

Its probably why its almost impossible to say which is a favourite piece in a collection. For me so far this year the aircraft have been the best releases but, (see, there is always one) the schlepper with the removable canvas frame is a great idea and a greta set
Mitch

For me it's the wooden planes, second to none. I also recently purchased a couple of AK sets, including the photographer. Outstanding release, plus the set of three riders I was missing for AK, also outstanding.

The new Crimean War figures from K&C UK deserve a mention.

For me its the TRL Flagbearer, the new Tiger and my forthcoming aircraft (FW190 (kinda topical at the moment) and the Spitfire Mk 1).

Also looking forward to the RAF Katy....and the Panther.....it goes on.

Andy

There haven't been any AWI releases yet this year, however the new forthcoming 23rd Royal Welch Fusiliers certainly look like they were worth the wait!

I am not into WWII at all really:eek:, but I do think getting civilians was cool for you guys and would love to see some civilians for other eras!

There have been many wonderful releases this year – 2nd US Dragoons – Oklahoma 1854, French Troops Marching To The Front – August 1914, Charge Australian Light House Beersheba Palestine 31 October 1917, 1st Cossack Division Yugoslavia April 1943 and one I am most appreciative of – The displaced civilians. Thanks Andy for the great stuff!

Donnie

great thread rob, glad to participate in something sensible, cant really pick out any one single k&c favourite because for me they are all great and there are many i dont collect .i would say tho they are much better in the flesh that in photos. If iam pushed into a corner the highlight this year so far has been the cossacks but i could go on and on ,refugees ,civil war , crimea ,my list would be endless. My usual rule is ,my last purchases are the highlight of the year until the next purchase,if that makes sense. To close ,for me ,whatever K&C make i would always consider their product first before looking elsewhere, to date i have not purchased any other make ,keep the show on the road ,Rob,you always give us a good read ,ken.

Thanks Ken,very kind mate.

Yes you are right of course, very difficult to narrow it down with them releasing so much good stuff. I thought I had it figured until Wayne posted and I had forgotten all those releases!. It's fun to put the question though and good to get lots of different views:)

AND WE HAVE'NT SEEN THE STUKA YET!:D

All the best Ken
