Forgot to mention this but Andy told me that K & C will be issuing a book featuring Gordon's 50 best dios. It will come out in time for the West Coaster 2013. I'm looking forward to it.

Outstanding intel. A must have. Thanks for the heads up and thanks for all your efforts during the the Chicago campaign. I know it must have been tough.^&grin

After talking to Andy for a few minutes at the OTS Show this afternoon of 23 September 2012 I later talked to his brother Gordon and I noted to him how much I liked his many dioramas in the past. Gordon then noted to me that there will be a K&C book on his 50 best dioramas. It should be splendid indeed!

Hi Gary,

It is great you were able to attend the Chicago show on Sunday.

This book should be a bestseller. Any idea of how to pre-order ?

Best Wishes, Raymond :)

Hello Raymond:

Thanks for your comments. As for Gordon's diorama photo book. I will pass on any further information I may obtain at a later date that is not posted here.

Best regards, Gary

I wonder which 50 will make the list???????

That will be a book to appreciate and a definite purchase.
While I am not sure about the 50 pieces that will make the list, I am very confident that the "Hartenstein Hotel" to display the Market Garden range will be included.
At the 2011 Chicago Show, Gordon asked me what I would pick as a favorite of his dioramas, and the Hartenstein Hotel was my choice.
The book will be a fantastic reference not only to Toy Soldier collecting in general and the possibilities of displaying them, but also a much deserved feature of one of the finest diorama builders in the market. Gordon's work is superb :salute::

sounds interesting but, what a job picking only fifty. perhaps a few volumes going back as far as is possible may be a better idea. I suppose someone will put a poll up about this!!!!

So many to choose from, Gordon's ' Piece of Cake ' is one of my personal faves and hope that is in the book:smile2:

while it will certainly make a nice coffee table book I would like to see a section on how to, products tips etc which, will be a great insight into them as often, its more interesting seeing how things are done than the actual finished product
Mitch

I would imagine through the K & C website, although I don't know when.

Joe,

It's supposed to be available then.

Brad

Brad,

Perfect!!! I'm already looking forward to it! Thanks again for the info.
