Got my FW190 (1 Viewer)

Good post and thoughts Paul :) I'm sure we've all said things which we all later regret or wish we hadn't said.

Some interesting comments by Paul/IXEC.
Generally as a dealer I agree with the concept of keeping costs down. I would have preferred the fuel drums as a seperate item but having said that have not had any collectors complain about getting it with the FW190.
However at US$185 for the ME109 with pilot and assuning a single K&C figure is usually US$32 that makes the aircraft itself US$153. I am pretty sure that those who did not like their figure could probbaly sell it as a single to bring their cost down.

Brett

Regrets, I've had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

I planned each charted course;
Each careful step along the byway,
But more, much more than this,
I did it my way :D

I would have preferred the FW190 without the fuel cans to save a few bucks but it was not enough of a problem to prevent purchase. Great aircraft! As to the Marseille 109, I love the Marseille figure and thus don't mind the price so much. And yes, these aircraft are pushing my own $200 limit, which I must stick to out of neccesity and is the reason I am unable to purchase the new KC Tiger. Still, these are great days for the collector, and these KC aircraft have really captured my attention. -- Al

Those were my thoughts as well ! The price point on the ME109 is very fair in my opinion. If you try to go and buy a Corgi 1/32 Plane - you will pay between $129.00 (on sale) to $189.00. The King & Country planes are bring you top quality - very collectable brand - and great detail - once again IMHO.

With ME109 w/ figure is a great package - just like the (SL) Rommel AK Plane that was released a few months ago.

I very glad to see Andy imbracing the AIRPLANE world - there was a time when you would ask him about it - the reply was less than positive - LOL :eek:

Great Planes are coming our way - now we all just have to figure out how to make room for them all !

Another thought on the Fuel Drums and Cargo - that would have made a great set on its own - its been a long time since K&C made the supply depot set.

So - Andy - if you are reading this thread ... you might want to consider making another AIRFIELD SUPPLY SET that could be used for all the new Airplane Ranges - AF, LW, RAF

Just a thought :)

Oh - don't forget to make more French Napoleonics too !! ;)

I would love to have crew unloading supplies to accompany the new Austin or other future trucks.

A fuel truck would also be handy.

Got a question on the KC FW190 markings. Anyone know if the JG1 emblem on the left side of the cowling is supposed to be on the right side also? -- Al

Lancer....

I have seen pics where his aircraft have one marking and some with two

Thanks guys. I've seen it both ways also. Just curious, is all. Might be one of those questions with no definitive answer.:confused: -- Al

I also thought with all the detail debate etc someone who had one would by now have posted so we could view it. Pics please

I would love to post pictures, but alas, no camera. Wouldn't know how anyway as I am very technology challenged.:eek: -- Al

Here are some photos. Don't ask me why I put it on the grass :eek: but it was after dinner and thought it might make a nice contrast.

I think they did a nice job on this. I was undecided at first mostly because I have the wooden ones and just like them more. However, that's comparing apples and oranges so if you have any wooden ones you have to put that aside.
