So could you use it protecting an airfield or base during the Battle of Britain then?

Damian, I suppose you could but I wonder if most armour would have been nearer the coasts or troop formations?? (happy to be wrong on that).I saw this that was widely used for defending airfields from Soldiers or Parachutists (dressed as Nuns!^&grin), looks absurd really and must have been murder on the clutch!;

you can and it would work with the Home guard figures. Its quite limited IMO if you want to set a scene accurately for the actual landings at Normandy from 6th June onwards and, any movement through Europe as was suggested in the description by this rather famous unit. as has been said, they used Sherman's and Cromwell's.

Correct markings added and it will be a great home defence AFV.

Nice photo Rob but that DuplexDriveAmphibious version which look like this , the KC version is the main battle tank version from 1942image.jpg
