Where do the years go John? Have yourself a wonderful day for another milestone birthday.:salute:::salute:: ,Robin.
John mate,
Birthday greeting to a fantastic bloke. Have a great day cobber. I hope Pauline treats you to a wonderful Dinner.
Cheers Howard:salute::
Thanks Howard, Robin and all the others for your kind thoughts on this, my 70th !!!
As far as a dinner treat, we went out last night to get away from 'Trick or treat' to a local Italian Restaurant for dinner.
This morning we are going over to my daughter's home and have a morning tea 'blow out the candles' with the grandkids in Perth, and with the other daughter and grandkids on their farm, 450kms SW of of us, they have just commenced harvesting so can't come up, hence a SKYPE B'day gathering.
Then it's off to lunch at 'The Raffles Hotel' .... yes an iconic hotel by the Swan River.
That wasn't my first choice though, mine was 5 hours (flying) north of us ........ 'THE RAFFLES" on Beach Rd in Singapore, so I have to go for 2nd best in this current situation, and pencil that one in for a later date ????
Cheers,
John
Happy Birthday belatedly, John. May you enjoy many many more years of figure modeling, painting and collecting.
It's not belated, it is still Sunday here, and I appreciate your wishes about many more years of painting and collecting. There are a few others in this Forum who hope that same as I have work booked up for them in the coming year, as well as big 'load of lead' awaiting my 'lick of paint'
Thanks,
John
John,
Do not under estimate the load of lead coming...
But more than that, we appreciate your out of the box thinking, in depth lnow how and historical accuracy...
Cheers
Luiz
Thanks Luiz,
I really appreciate your kind comments, I do try to 'get it right' with my work
John
