Hi guys,
I cant claim much originality on this one as I copied the K&C brochure positioning!
But I had a perfect bridge to place them on...….

best , Andrew :salute::

Well done Andrew. Great little scene you created here with the perfect selection of figures.

Outstanding display Andrew using some great figures and what a neat bridge.

Been really enjoying all the 'Pacific' dio's lately.

Thanks for posting.

Great idea with the bridge and I like your water ffect very much
Guy:)

Excellent painting on the figures.
A tutorial on their painting method would be educational.

Contrary to popular thought,,as a kid, a friends father who fought in the pacific talked about the wartime with us,,showed a nip flag similar ,,as did my uncle who fought in europe spoke a great deal about ww2,,perhaps some of those who "didnt talk about it' had not much to talk about,,,

Mmmm not sure about that. I spent an hour or so once a few years ago with my neighbour a WW2 vet who survived the Italian campaign sitting in his backyard under a tree showing him a new book about Kiwis who fought in Italy. During that hour we covered much ground and he described in detail much of his wartime experiences.

As I got up to leave his wife approached and with some emotion stated that's the must he's ever mentioned the war to anyone since he returned home in 1945. That was 2014 and he was in his 90's. Not every soldier wants to remember let alone talk about such things......His lovely wife said he never ever raised the war with her or his children.

A wonderful man who sadly passed about 4yrs ago.
