Guys, have just been having a longer look at the Landing Craft and FW 190,check out the weathering and detail on these items. It really is very well done.Look at the dirt/weathering above the wing on the FW,looks very good to me.Gradually month after month K&C are really nailing the dirt and wear and tear on their items. The FW looks as if it really has seen some service and is a terrific looking model, what they started with the Hurricane and P51 now continues with the Butcher bird, great stuff:cool::cool:

spot on Rob and well said not a landing craft enthusiast at all,but seems to me ,coupled with the new american figures etc ,that i will have to indulge and good news for John Gittings too ,a new beach mat to make and sell, once he gets the dimensions of the higgins .The FW190 looks way too good to resist, never mind saving for the spit it wont be out for months now. Ken,can I tell the wife you told me not to save my dosh for the Spit;)

JG are really producing some great stuff arn't they, with their mat and this new wave of K&C you are right there in Saving Private Ryan.

The FW is a nice model and, the Higgins boats are much better than the previous ones and, is that a new jeep in the pictures with a trailor??

Love the civillians and will work in any ETO diorama. I like the fact that they look how they would be feeling having been uprooted from their homes and, in fear of their futures.

I have had quite a few conversations with people about the new releases and, everyone is amazed at what has come out.

Make sure you watch Saving Private Ryan on Bluray, on a large screen - better yet use that as your backdrop to the beach display:D

Yes I agree, the feedback I've been getting is very positive.

How about that FW,just what you were waiting for?;)

Rob

I cant wait for the FW190. K&Cs version sure looks good. I have all of the other new polystone planes and they just keep getting better.

Rob - I wanted so bad not to like it....but they really hit this one out of the park. I also just ordered the new Tiger I, and now this! My forces are amassing to punch a hole in your D-Day landings:)

:D

It looks so good doesn't it,a fine example of the Butcher Bird, affordable Warbirds,I love it!.

I will have to muster a Firefly,Hurricane,Typhoon to ensure landing success,ok they havn't made the Polystone Typhoon yet,but I can dream;):D

Rob

I must admit, I've not been buying KC airplanes to date-but that'll change with the FW...outstanding looking piece !

That FW190 really looks great. I'm glad to see K&C going with a little more weathering on this plane. Makes it look more realistic. Maybe this is a trend that might continue on future warbird releases? Has a price been anounced on this?

And not forgetting the rust on the Landing craft, again no pristine example here, this has been in the water sometime, gives it a real knocked about feel to it.

You are right Rob, I hadn't looked closely at the landing craft yet. That does look good.

Duke - I had the same question. Looks to be $199 on the K&C website. Considering the cost of a wooden warbird, this is a good price to pick up this fine specimen. Now if we could just get multiples with different aircraft numbers....:)

While we are dreaming.......I know its way early and the wrong pilot, this is Priller not Bar, but how about a BMW for the airfield display?:D Perhaps not as nice as my 335i coupe:cool:

The FW190 is a great model. It will be my first KC warbird and first 1/30 aircraft if I can put the money together for it. I was a little disappointed that the price was so high at $199. Was hoping it would be in the ballpark of the earlier Hurricanes etc. At any rate this is a must have as it is my favorite ETO aircraft. -- Al

Hi guys
I have never mentioned K+C prices before but the new FW has seemed to jump nearly 60 pounds :confused:
This is a beautiful plane but i dont think i will be able to these much longer:eek: but my anniversary is coming up so hope my wife takes the hint:D
Regards Scott
