Re: Wanted: Heco Tinplate Vehicles
I agree Mike, I hadn't seen any before either so I thought a little google was in order.
Jeff
I recognize most of these photos as being from prior Vectis Auctions. Search Heco on Vectis' finished auctions link and there are some other cool photos, including a V1 Buzzbomb, and, if I remember correctly, the Rolls Royce Halftrack I mentioned and a WWI truck with a damaged WWI aircraft fuselage on the flatbed. Here is a link to some shots of other Heco items, including the above referenced items, as well as a barrage balloon, a nissan hut, the SE5a I recently purchased:

Any chance one of you guys with computer skills could follow the links and post the photos? There are some really beautiful items.
The catalogue I had scanned and asked Brad to post for me lists around 60 pieces, and has pictures of around 30. They include a Renault FT17 Tank, a Whippet Tank, both Mark I and a Mark IV British Tanks, Rolls Royce, Crossley & Austin Armored Cars, several trucks, including a mobile pigeon loft for the signals corps., several sea planes, including the Supermarine S6 Schneider Trophy winner, a Hawker Hurricane, a bunch of buildings, including Nissan Huts, Hangers, a Anti-Aircraft emplacement and a Royal Flying Corps. workshop, and three boats, including a WWI German Gunboat.
After the photos of the items in the catalogue I had scanned get posted by Brad, I will take some photos of my Heco collection, including the two pieces I gave to my friend Morgan, including the following Heco items: Tiger Tank, British Mark IV Tank, Rolls Royce Armored Car, Rolls Royce Halftrack, AEC Matador Lorry (one of my favorites), V1 Bomb, 15 WWI Planes, including a Bleriot Monoplane, Fokker Eindecker, Fokker DR1 Triplane (2), Sopwith Camel (4, including one in 1:64 scale), a Nieuport 17, a Vickers Gunbus pusher plane, an SE5a (my favorite Heco piece so far), a Sopwith Triplane, and three others I can't identify, an RAF Tower with a windsock, and a Zulu War Heliograph Team.
