Hi all i need some help please with re-numbering a Tiger tank Turret.I have 2 Tunisian Tigers and 3 turrets so im getting John to re-number one for me so i can display 2 Tigers what number should it be so they are correct?Does it matter can it be 126 or 125A or ??????

s.Pz.Abt.501 in Tunisia used turret numbers on its Tigers. 131 is an actual number that was in use, but you could easily use 124

s.Pz.Abt. 504 in Tunisia did not display tank numbers so you can have a turret with no numbers from that unit.

I'm not even going to ask how you ended up with 3 turrets but only 2 tanks. Was beer involved?

Terry is correct about the markings for tigers but, I am more interested in what happened to the lower portion of the Tiger 1????

Oops - Frank's right. I should have said 122 instead of 124 - didn't go low enough. Memory failing .

Thanks all i went with 123 easy for John plus 3 turrets 2 tanks i got the turret of ebay (Mat OZDIGGER ) not sure on the story but worked out well can display it as a seperate tank and re-sell it as the original (which i doubt will happen)if the need arises..............................

Perhaps I can help.

We received a damaged Tunisian Tiger when they came out. Luckily was discovered quickly as I called King and Country for a replacement and they kindly supplied me with the last one they had in their shop.

If I remember correctly I had the Tiger turret displayed in the shop on the hull of another AK tank. We put it on display more for "entertainment" but my assistant at the time put a low price tag on it. Never expected it to sell !!
