Hi guys,

Three of these big beauties flew in a couple of days back. They represent one of Reichsmarschal Goering’s personal aircraft… In this particular case JU52/3m “Manfred von Richtofen”. This aircraft was registered D-2527 and featured a colourful red and white livery in memory of Rittmeister Manfred von Richtofen of WW1 fame.

Hope you like it…
Best wishes and happy flying!
Andy C.

Stunning plane, the Ju.52 is one of my favourites.
It is a beauty in any version!

It's a beaut Andy and probably a bit faster than the standard colour schemes because of the flaming red paint job!!! ^&grin

Hi guys,

Many thanks for the kind compliments on Herman’s JU52. On a personal note I’d also like to praise “RISORGIMENTO” on his very own “DESERT VILLAGE” buildings which he posted on the JJD site… Very nice indeed… I think they would fit nicely alongside any of K&C’s desert series. Well Done!

Best wishes,
Andy C.

very nice paint job. A great aircraft the iron annie

Many thanks Andy, I'm very flattered for your kind appreciation, really I thought about the K&C's series too building my village, this is a picture with Axis forces.
Thanks again
Carlo

Wonderful and creative choice for the paint scheme on the JU-52. One of the most striking aircraft I have seen. One small note, the Red Baron's name is spelled RichtHofen, with a second "h". -- Al

Beautifully painted. Wish I had room for something like that.

What a stunning looking aircraft, terrific model, thanks for posting Andy.

The JU52 is one of my all time favourite aircraft. Putting it in Goerings colours to Richtofen makes it unique. A well done model.

The original numbers on the plane were D-2527 but Goering later had them changed to D-AGUK. I've wondered if there was hidden meaning in that call sign??? Goering was superstitious.
