I could not imagine anyone so much into The Home Guard series as you Robin. Incredible collection of buildings, figures and accessories. Might have to acquaint myself better with the show to get the full value of your diorama efforts. Well presented. Regards Greg.

Once you get to know the charactors you get hooked. They are on YouTube at no cost. Love to know what you think Greg after giving it a go. Robin.

Hope there was no damage to those beautiful fire engines. Nice scene. Chris

Episode 25, 'No Spring for Frazer'......Frazer's workshop. Robin.

Episode 44 "Getting the Bird". Rumours abound as Sergeant Wilson's estranged daughter Seretta Wilson a Wren, says her farewells in the grounds of the St. Aldhelm's church, over heard by Frazer. Wilson asks Frazer not to tell anyone. Robin.

Yes it is. It's hard to make the Conte church look meh, but that does it. That Jakob does some amazing work.

Yes Jacobs church really is outstanding as are your Sister in Law's backdrop paintings I see in your photos Robin. You're a lucky guy to have the space to display your collection mate. :salute:::salute:::salute::

Steve

Thanks guys for your nice positive comments, always an inspiration. As you can see the church hall is now at the rear, rather than the side of the church. Of course you have to use your imagination that this is the church and hall headquarters of the Home Guard and if you never seen a Dad's Army episode (80 in all) guess it makes no sense at all. My little tribute to a wonderful tv series that stays evergreen. May visit it again one day in the future, should Andy choose to complete the figures that are missing. It has been a fun project creating the various scenes with the help of my model maker and course the release of these figures from Andy. This permanent display will be a constant reminder to me how fond I am of Dad's Army and the characters portrayed, with only Pikey 'you stupid boy' left standing. Robin.
