Honour Bound Repaint (1 Viewer)

Great that you have rescued this tank. HB items are so good and would be a pity to lose any. I would have a lot more of their product, but I was a little late onto the scene in their hay day. Robin.
 
Nice repaint Frank, I was never a fan of the original paint work on most of the HB Normandy tanks, too pastel imo.

As for the engine, what's the story?
 
I agree, the paint just wasn't very accurate. The engine we left untouched and just painted the underside of the engine hatch. This was a weird model in that it came molded into the base. For me, with the new paint, I'm far more likely to incorporate it into some of my scenes.

Next up, Bergepanther
 
I look forward to seeing your HB Bergepanther repaint, still one of my favorite models.

I like the terrific detail on the newer 1/30 scale models but there's just something about the early sets, they seem to have a character of their own.
 
Great job, mate. I have one of these and would kill for a re-paint. It is hard to find people who do German Cam vehicles.
It turned out brilliant also have the BERG make for a great recovery scenario.
 
It's too bad Honour Bound couldn't make a go of it. They came out of nowhere, made some of the best tanks around, and then disappeared all too quickly. The HB winter field kitchen is still one of my favorites. Anna was a great person.
 
I was about to sell my Summer field kitchen, but after seeing this thread, I have reconsidered. Robin.

Yes the Gold Tiger was one I would have liked, but unfortunately I was too late to the collecting party even at 2009. Robin.
