I don't think this is a Figarti set just some imports from a eastern manufacturer. I think, you can contact these firms directly and get them at a better price.

I saw the Horsa gilder at the London show. I didn't think it was worth 850 of my hard earned.

As a teaser, I did hear a combination of the words: Horsa, June, Dakota, show, London whilst I was there. Make of it what you will.

not bad for a mahogany airplane, looks pretty good to me

The Figarti Lancaster looks nice. I wonder how it compare to the K&C Lancaster since it's the cheaper one of the two ( just curious because I could not afford it anyway ^&grin )

I took these if this helps.

I had a 1:30 Mahogany Horsa made in The Philippines a couple years ago. Looks just like the one in this picture. The manufacturer there built it so the wings come off for easier shipping. I love it but it is huge and takes up a whole table. Larry.

Does anyone have a website where these planes are available or any info on them ??
would love a JU52 or a Heinkel He 111...........................................................^&grin

Wayne ,

I bought a 1/30 JU87 Stuka that was made in the Phillipines , got it thru Megellanmodels.com...They have a Ju52 on their site although it is 1/50 , but maybe you can call & have one made...Pic's of my DAK Stuka from MegellanModels...

Joe,

The difference is that the ones Clive has are made in the Connoisseur K & C style whereas the ones you have have the frosted windows. I have a couple of those and are just not as nice.

£850 may seem expensive but it's really a pretty good price for a plane of that size.

Where do you get the "Connoisseur" ones from Brad, the public must be able to buy them ??

Wayne...

I spoke with a guy in the far east about these things last year. They can be contacted (not sure if they are the same company as a few make these things) and will do commissions etc for the public. Its a misnomer that only manufacturers can get these items done without frosted glass perpetuated by manufacturers and a few who follow them!! who obviously only want you to buy it from them.

I will hunt the e-mail out that I had hopefully it will be saved somewhere. It was numbers that were a lot different than these prices from Clive and from the other manufacturer who peddles them.

There is also the metal ones that were on the site a few months ago and they are able to make them and at a good price when you talk with them. Can't remember their name now
