Howard (Northgate Woods) at the time of writing is about to land in Chicago after a 25 hour trip.

We get Oprah and you get Howard ! However we do want him back so don't go spoiling him too much with your fine food, drink and good company.

I am guessing he is arriving before he took off.

He has mentioned he will be sending images to Wayne to kindly upload. We did a thread when Howard went to West Coaster and it worked fine until Howard got to San Antonio when we were no longer able to receive the images from Howard's laptop. Hopefully it will work this time.

Regards
Brett

Brett,

I'm sure looking forward to the continuing episodes the "Howard Report"... all the away from the "Good Ole USA".

His antipodean approach to reporting gives us 'down under a different perspective on the big show.... can't wait :)

Brett, Obee and Good Mates,
Just returned to my room after a long chat with Andy, Patrick and met the famous young Gordon. Top bloke. Drop into say g'day to my good mate George (Warrior) but he was up to his armpits with stock and dios so I let him get on with it.
K&C will release some exciting new stuff tomorrow but I will leave that to young Patrick to tell you about. I will have my camera at the ready.
The trip over here was to say the least very adventful. The trip was supposed to be 18 hrs flying time with 3 hrs stopovers. (one in Sydney and two in LA). Well everything went well until LA (they say bad things come in threes) where the plane to Chicago developed back up problems in the toilets so we had to wait an extra two hours whilst they found another plane. Finally arrived in Chicago, two hours late and the baggage handlers where having a stop work meeting. Took one hour to get the baggage and then on the drived to the Hotel encountered a large accident on the Freeway which delayed us another 45 minutes. BUT what the heck I'm here now and ready to rock'n'roll. Reminde me not to fly United next time
Will report daily with photos as soon as something is released.
Cheers from the Windy City, Howard

Howard,

Welcome to Chicago. Hopefully, I will get to see you at the show and I hope to meet many more Treefroggers.

I'm with ya on that, anyone that is willing to fly for that long is a top notch guy in my book, glad to hear you made it finally Howard, and look forward to seeing your pics when you post...Sammy

Have heard from Howard via email and it appears we may have technical problems getting the photos from his laptop again. He mentioned he was trying to sort it out.
I advised suggested he enjoy the show and worry about posting the photos when he gets back to Australia.
Have a great show guys.
We will be watching.
Regards
Brett

Brett mate and all Treefroggers,
My sincerest apologies for the lack of photos. I have taken many shots of some great set ups, none being better than Georges (Warrior) and from the K&C room. There are six magnificent Dios in the K&C room which I am sure Patrick will release over the next few days. Gordon has out done himself this year with the new BOB Dio. It is truely a master piece to behold.
I have the entire Hyatt Computer people working on the problems as to why I can receive emails thru their Broadband system but cannot send.
I had a great day prowling the rooms of the Hotel watching people set up and others chasing early bargains. The Phantom Steven Cheong beat me to the punch on most occassions but I still managed to get some great buys.
I don't think I will let the cat out of the bag by saying that those of you who BBG collectors will be extremely very happy. One particular item people have been asking for, for many years. An absolute ripper.
For those of you who are aeroplane collectors, the piece to resistance of all German fighters is here.
Just returned back from dinner with Andy, Gordon, Patrick and Chris Munro and a bit tired out. For all my good Aussies mates the restuarant/brewery at which we dined served a very nice draught beer and it went down very well indeed. NO Wayne I behaved myself.
Tomorrow is the big day when most of the rooms open for business. and heaps more people check in. Looking forward to catching up with some great mates from my earlier trip this year.
America is truely the land of milk and honey. They have it all.
More to follow with photos (fingers crossed) tomorrow.
Cheers Howard

Keep the posts coming, photos or not! They're greatly appreciated.

Regards

Todd

Howard...if you can't e-mail the pics, swing by the Treefrog room later today when we're open. We can help send them from our computer.

I will be posting Howard's photos for him. He's taking them over to Treefrog and they're sending them to me (closest I'll get to the Show :))

These are the first three I've received. I will post them as I get them. I'll have to have Howard add commentary where he has time.
