Fairly confident with the snow background as it looks to fit in well with these scenes. Still a little worried about the tree one as the trees appear very tall, requiring the figures to be positioned way forward to help with the scale aspect. Will not know until I get down to it and set up a display, some time off yet. Robin.
OK happy with the tree backdrop, perhaps a little more blending terrain, but otherwise glad I have it. Robin.
Here's a quick shot I just took. It's better than previous attempts but not completely to my liking and not as good as Robin's. It will have to do.

In this case I would try elevating your base so that less of the forest floor shows. I am working on some old growth trees at the moment, including a new figure in a tall tree that is designed to use with this backdrop.
My dad had a large maple tree in his back yard that was only about 50 years old and it was over 50 feet tall. This would bring it in at about 18 inches in scale. Trees are big...
This was always a wake up call to scale modelers.

Brad, I notice your new figs. How do you like them? They're "on my list."
