All credit to you, it's just not the diorama pieces that make a scene, it's the overall layout, terrain, backdrop and finer touches like snow, leaves etc. I have along way too go to produce this stunning style, if ever. Keep up your excellent work.:salute::, Robin.
The key to a big depth of field is a small aperture (i.e. f/22) and a short focal length (i.e. 30mm). Don't focus on the closest element of the scene. Focus part way into the scene near the most important elements. There is only one plane which is truly "in focus" and the picture gradually loses focus in front of and behind this plane. Using settings similar to the ones I noted above reduces the rate of focal degradation. A certain amount of softening towards the rear of the scene tends to look good and keep the viewers focus on the important elements.
