Re: Beware Hudson Studios

In the interim, however, I know what the problem is. You live in Australia and the last time I heard of them shipping something with trees and shrubs to Australia, a wonderful diorama for our good friend Howard Woods, it got seized by Australian customs because the foliage is made with real plant matter, and Australia has really strict laws on foreign plant matter.

Way to be Johnny on the spot Louis, you're a fountain of information.

Maybe after they seized the foliage, they smoked it.

Maybe that explains why Ken is always smiling.

Ordered the H&A Normandy Barn at the Chicago show and it arrived last week. No problems with communication or shipping. Ken and Erika where great with this transaction and I have nothing but good things to say about their service.

Yes, it is a great piece and I can't wait until this weekend when I'll have a bit of time to tinker around with it ^&cool

Nice piece, what does the reverse side look like. I wonder if Erica could saw them in half as facades?

Go to the nearest doll house store and get the vegetation.

Hi Don,
Not sure, but if I recall having seen one..the back is a plain stone wall, the doors of the barn if I am not mistaken also can open...
Cheers

It is a stone back wall with a really big hole in it. Ken's idea was to hide a Panther tank in the barn.

I tried to like this post, because the diorama is fantastic, but since the forum was upgraded, I don't seem to be able to like posts.^&confuse

I just added these Hudson & Allen WWI backdrops to my WWI set-up (containing Trophy, Hecto Tinplate Models and CJB Models and Hudson & Allen and King & Country diorama materials), and they really add depth the scene:
