Original photo from internet and my take on it using K&C figure

Suburb recreation of the picture. Had to tell which is the original and which is your mini-dio.
Your talent is quite showing through in all your work.

Cheers Larry. I was trying an idea out and it kind of works to a fair extend.
If you're wanting to create a scene such as I did here with the shop front in Hue, without spending lots of time and money. Find some appropriate photos resize them and print them off.
In this example I cropped out the entrance with the Marine in also as I obviously didn't want him in and it also saved on ink for the printer.

K&C could use you for advertising payment in fugures 😂 another beauty

Very nice!!!

Might be fun to copy as far as possible the photos of Don McCullin et al taken in Hue during Tet 1968 with figures coming out in this range against an original photo in small dioramas !

I can already think of a few and one of K&C dead VC being released this month would make for a good one I think from McCullin's photos, so will try to reproduce it myself when they are available.

Hi Steve,
many thanks for your continued support and enthusiasm for K&C's new 'Vietnam' range...The response from collectors worldwide has also been very encouraging.

Like you I am a great admirer of photographer Don McCullin's superb work...especially his combat photos in Vietnam, Northern Ireland and other major troublespots during the 1960's, '70's and 80's...His work has been hugely inspirational in the development of our 'Vietnam Marines'...and in the ongoing releases.

We are actually producing a special figure of Don as he appeared during the TET Offensive when he accompanied elements of the 5th. Marines during some of the fiercest fighting in the Battle of Hue.
Best wishes,
Andy.

Hi Andy

Thanks and that's great news. A miniature Don McCullian will be back on assignment in lots of collectors with K&C Vietnam Marines I'm sure when he is released !

All the Best
Steve

"LIKE" . . . Steve, another one of your well done vignettes . . . .

Awesome pic's and re-creation of the historical scenes Steve.

You have the figures to depict just about any scene Steve. Well done. Robin.
